<p>February 13-14 PH NorCal was in the gym. We Saw Pioneer defeat Leigh, Junipero Serra beat St. Francis in a WCAL contest, and Salesian College Prep win the Tri-County-Rock Tournament Championship against St. Mary's.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2356520' first='Derek' last='Quan']: He's a quality point guard, He's a ball handler with vision and passing, handles ball pressure, deals with the double team . They've moved him to the high post to be a triple threat. We saw him spot up in the corners for open 3-pointers. He's good in transition pushing and looking to pass ahead. He delivers nice long bounce passes to receivers without breaking their strides for layups. He helps rebound.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='3504411' first='Brayden' last='Lin']: He's a good 3-point shooter, they run plays for him, he runs screens, they look find him spotting up around the perimeter. He'll trail at times for a delayed transition 3pt attempt, he can get into a rhythm. He's a ball mover, looks for open space without the ball, good form, shot ready. He'll use a dribble or two at times to free himself for a mid-range jumper. Newcomer</p>

Most of his work was off ball along the perimeter. He doesn't hesitate to put up an open shot. He had success on the catch and shoot 3ptr. He'll use a dribble, or two to free himself for a mid-range jumpers. He showed a dribble drive spin move, and a reverse layup from the baseline to get his shot off. 21pts, 3-3's, multiple rebounds and assists. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2633864' first='Weston' last='Edwards']: Arising guard in the 2028. He's splitting time between guard positions. He handles the ball under pressure, sees the court to pass up. He moves the ball around the perimeter, had good passes into the post. In this game his 12pts came by knocking down 4-3 pointers. He had a couple of drives going to the basket with a first step off the dribble. He's getting his shot off in different ways. Squares up, good form. </p>

He has lengthy arms, still growing, jumps good around the rim, including a second jump for his offensive rebounding activity. Though he's raw, he had good activity in the post when entering the game. He works from the high post, moves the ball, feeds the low block, set screens. He his length and a dribble gets him to the front of the rim. He's polishing his overall skill set. He runs the court, will dunk it. Good upside. Newcomer</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2059748' first='Wyatt' last='Von Blanco'] : He's one our better guards in NorCal, ranked #10. He'll take his expanding skill set to Cal-State San Marcos next season. At this level he effects the game on both sides from the guard position. His speed, handles, and ability to create and convert buckets puts him ahead of a lot of players at this level. He's got lift on the jump shot short and long. He hit 4-3's, sometimes using a dribble and a side step. His quick hands, and speed on defense can be disruptive. He had 28pts in a variety of ways.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2094258' first='Sebastian' last='Margate']: He's been a consistent playmaking point guard. He can run an offense with vision and good passing. He has a first step that can beat defenders off the dribble, he'll finish drives from the top and other angles. He's an excellent 3-pointer shooter, will stop on the dime for a mid-range jumper. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2137369' first='Asante' last='Johnson']: He's a hard playing guard that gives the effort to defend, sticking to his man, fighting over screens, no easy baskets. He's becoming or, already is a legitimate threat knock down 3-point shooters, he had 5-3's in this game. Works mostly off ball moving, and screening. He'll make the extra pass. He had strong drives along the baseline. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2605708' first='Juelz' last='Richo']: He's a rising wing/forward in the class of 2028. He found his way into the starting line for NorCal's top ranked, team in this game. He's long, stronger than he looks, active, and plays hard on the defensive side of the ball. He's steadily adding pieces to his offensive skill set, range on the jumper, ball handling and passing. He plays high post, works the baseline, will shoot an open corner 3. He's a rebounder. </p>
