Britt Wright | Prep Hoops Scout
After sitting out half the season. He was a bit out of sync coming off the bench for NorCal’s Open CIF State Finalist. He’s ready to restart himself this Spring. He’s has some tools to work with. Good size, strength. He’s a good finisher around the the basket. He’s got a short jumper, defends multiple positions, he’ll rebound. We’ll see what he does in the Spring.

We saw a big guard with quality handles, and moves to generate buckets using his dribble. He attacks from different areas, using a good first step, hard dribbles, and body control to finish around the basket. He powers up off two feet, challenging defenders, and handling body contact. At 6’3 he’s an underrated defender and rebounder. He’s a quality prospect looking to expand his game after transferring into Archbishop Riordan

He’s starting and has been a consistent performer on one of NorCal’s top teams. Standing around 6’3, he’s a solid body with a good skill set. He works mostly off ball right now attacking openings with his dribble, and using strong finishes at the rim. Not a lot of wasted movement. He’s a good passer, court runner. We’ve seen hit short jumpers, and a few 3’s. He’ll work the boards, and defend.

He’s had his ups and downs this spring and summer, that’s expected with this age group, nevertheless he’s a solid ball player who contributes on the court. He’s a good handling guard who’ll make the extra pass, he’ll run the court and finish strong in transition. He can hit the short jumper, defend hard and help rebound.
