What post players are the headliners in the 2029 class that are making an impact on the varsity level? With the latest 2029 watch list released on Monday we look at the top prospects making their presence felt on the varsity level!

[player_tooltip player_id='2964028' first='Elon' last='Henderson'] (Leo)

Henderson has everything you look for physically in a young big man with his legit size at 6'8”. The five man snatches rebounds with his fluid athleticism. Runs the floor with ease and has touch around the hook on sweeping layups and hook shots. Spin moves on the low block and can really protect the rim defensively. Flashes as a spot up shooter, but at times settles for it. Super bright future for Henderson!

[player_tooltip player_id='2405910' first='Denym' last='Wallace'] (New Trier)

Wallace has been the most productive big man in the state from the 2029 class. He is a big and strong five man with a ton of skill. He knows how to utilize his size and physicality in the paint. Good touch, nimble footwork, and finishes well out of the dunker spot. Like the passing feel he brings for a big man. Rebounds well in his area.

[player_tooltip player_id='3236430' first='Declan' last='Wilson'] (Burlington Central)

Wilson is a 6'5” power forward with long arms and impacts on both ends. Defensively he plays with a high motor and mobility. Offensively he can handle the rock winning from the mid-post. In the paint he displays touch and solid footwork. Very good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2798656' first='Zach' last='Newman'] (Deerfield)

Newman is playing a backup role for Deerfield, but is the future of that program. The 6'6” big man has length, skill, and athleticism. Can play inside and out, rim runs in transition, can knock down a shot, and put it on the deck.

[player_tooltip player_id='2963993' first='Kaleb' last='Garcia'] (Collinsville)

Garcia is starting for the Kahoks and making an impact as a freshman. Shows flashes at 6'7” with his touch from the mid-range particularly the baseline jumper along with getting on the glass.
