With Baysah leading the charge, the Wildcats stormed into Broom St and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. He was rolling early, hitting a spot-up three, collapsing the defense with explosive drives to the rim, and drawing fouls. But after his team fell behind during the second and third quarters, the senior point guard flipped a switch. Baysah scored 8 points in the fourth, including the game-tying bucket, then blocked a shot to send the game into overtime where he helped seal the deal. He finished with 20 points, 5 boards, 5 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.

[player_tooltip player_id='2623997' first='Ronald' last='Handy'] | 6'2 G 2026 Howard

Friday night at Salesianum, Handy's jumper was good when it mattered most. After finding Baysah on a baseline drive and kick, he then cashed a trey-ball of his own. Handy made some high feel basketball plays too, highlighted by a putback and skip pass that went for three. Finally, in overtime, he went to the free throw line and made all six to close out the game. “Mink” tallied 18 points (9-12 FT), 4 rebounds, and 1 steal.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375232' first='Kareem' last='King'] | 6'4 W 2027 Dover

While the Senators collectively found ways to get stops on defense versus Smyrna, King capitalized on their efforts by putting the ball on the bucket. The wing slasher gashed the Eagles offense the catch. He decisively ripped through past his man and into the lane, as well as exploited fastbreak opportunities for efficient offense. His 7 points in the fourth quarter helped turn Dover's 12 point deficit into a one point win. In all, King tallied a game-high 20 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2573852' first='Chase' last='Sullivan'] | 6'2 G 2026 Smyrna

When the Eagles welcomed Dover mid-week, Sullivan came out hot for the first three quarters. He had 9 of their 18 first points by literally scoring at all three levels. Over the course of the game, Sullivan popped a couple mid-rangers and knifed through rotating defenses. He also found his guys on cuts to the basket and forced several turnovers at the point of attack. His 17 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals led the way for the Eagles.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352455' first='Tarrance' last='Williams'] | 6'6 F 2026 Dover

With his seven stocks against Smyrna, Williams was the backbone of Dover's defense. He absorbed contact and altered shots whenever drivers challenged him at the rim. And he was always in position to come up with loose balls or errant passes. On the flip side, Williams rumbled on the post with his back to the basket and drove from the elbow, which often earned him visits to the line, but also a few field goals. He finished with a well-rounded 13 points (7-7 FT), 5 boards, 3 steals, and 4 blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352451' first='Latrell' last='Wright'] | 5'10 G 2026 Salesianum

Wright met the moment when Howard pulled up to Broom St on Friday night and delivered a masterful performance. He started out facilitating, hitting one teammate rolling to the basket and another one with a long pass to break the press. But after being down four points after the first quarter, Sallies needed him to score. Wright broke his man down off the dribble and found creases to slither to the cup for scoop layups, floaters, and eventually free throw attempts (6-8). And when that wasn't there, he drilled a few triples to keep the defense honest. In the end, Wright led all participants with 25 points plus 3 assists.
