Expert Analysis
Chad Graham | Prep Hoops Scout
On top of being a fierce point-of-attack defender, Sullivan has shown that he can produce at either guard spot on offense, but he thrived while back in his natural on-ball role. He hopped and skipped into the lane and scored around or over out-stretched arms. No matter how big the moment, Sullivan never shied away; instead, he’d hit defenders with quick counters going left or right. Ultimately, his talent, skill, and determination as a lead guard earned him a spot with Wilmington University.

Once Sullivan found his bearings, he proceeded to create and/or exploit gaps in the Senators defense. In the midst of blocking a couple shots in the third, he got two feet in the paint for efficient buckets that gave the Eagles a boost going into the fourth. Sullivan continued slicing and dicing his way to the hoop and, when Dover finally cut him off, he countered with jumpers from the second level. He scored a game-high 17 points and reached 1,000 career points in the process.

Sullivan’s quick, aggressive hands as a defender and ability to score on-ball and off- make him one of the best two-way prospects in Delaware. Already wired to make plays for others, his capacity to carry heavy usage on offense while wrecking shop on defense will be key.

Thrust into a score-first role for the Eagles, Sullivan did so with power and pace off the dribble. He relentlessly hunted for cracks in the defense, whether he was isolated or coming off of a screen, and got to his spots inside the arc. The touch on his jumper contrasts with his strong hands defensively. While in help or on the weak side, Sullivan habitually raked the ball away for deflections and steals, propelling his squad to the DIAA Quarterfinals.
