Just like that, the final month of the regular season in high school basketball is here and man, what a season it has been. We have seen many players across the state breakout, multiple great games, and still even have a few unbeaten teams remaining. With the final month about to start and Sectionals just right around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to take a look at under-the-radar players to watch this final month. Here are five players from the 2028 class.

Fort Wayne Snider is a team that has a lot of experience and the one true underclassman to be a big part of the rotation for them is sophomore shooting guard [player_tooltip player_id='2416898' first='Chance' last='DeRossett']. DeRossett is 4th on the team for Sndier in scoring averaging 9.3 points but is also averaging 3.2 rebounds per game, as well. He is a smooth, athletic, left-handed guard that is just a big time scorer. Next season, he will be the main man for Snider but you can still expect him to have a big final month of this season.

The Eastern Greene Thunderbirds have put together a really solid season up to this point in the year and big part of that is the play of sophomore guard [player_tooltip player_id='2791284' first='Kyan' last='Hudson']. At this current part of the season, Hudson is averaging 14.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 4.4 assists per game. Hudson is a high IQ player that competes hard on both ends of the floor while being a high-volume scorer, as well. He is one to keep an eye on the final month of the season and beyond.

The Tri-West Bruins have some real intriguing sophomore coming up the ranks and perhaps the top guy in that group is point guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538906' first='Daniel' last='Thomas']. The 5'10 guard is third on the team in scoring averaging 10.1 points while also distributing 2.3 assists per game, as well. He stands out for his ability to use his speed on the ball, both as a creator and as a highly competitive defender while also being able to hit deep shots, as well. A real electric guard.

Down in Crawford County you find one of the highest scoring sophomores in the entire state, 2028 guard [player_tooltip player_id='2538843' first='Braxton' last='Bowman']. A long, 5'11 guard, Bowman is averaging an impressive 25.9 points per game and 3.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Everything that Crawford County does runs through Bowman with his elite playmaking ability both on and off the ball. Crawford County may not get the type of exposure most other schools do, but they have legit prospect in Bowman.

Up at Portage High School is a sophomore point guard that is trending upward, [player_tooltip player_id='2538890' first='Bryce' last='Kobe']. Kobe, who is listed at 6'1, is averaging a second best 15.5 points for Portage and is leading the team in rebounds with 5.8 per game. Kobe is a tough-minded player that is always playing aggressive and being a strong bucket-getter. He is a growing to be a player that is just going to continue to improve throughout his high school career.
