[player_tooltip player_id='1601068' first='Noah' last='Asuma'] of Cherry. It's been a strong run for Noah, the Minnesota baseball commit. He recently went over 2,000 points for his career, then he scored 31 points to beat Moose Lake-Willow River, and then had 30 this weekend to beat Blake. The Tigers are number one in the state right now and Asuma's hot scoring run has been a key part.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] of Hibbing. One of the most impressive players of December was [player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'], a double-double machine that had his latest double-double in a 68-55 win over Cambridge. Brau scored a season high 37 points boosting his average to nearly 30 points a game this season.

Kalub Brown of Cherry. One of the biggest keys to the Class A season was Cherry getting production from up and coming players. Brown gave Cherry that type of game this weekend scoring 26 key points and helping the Tigers beat Blake 81-78. Brown is a shooter that can stretch the defense.

[player_tooltip player_id='2121361' first='Jack' last='Davies'] of Ely. Another recent member of the 2K club is [player_tooltip player_id='2121361' first='Jack' last='Davies'], a senior guard from Ely that opened the game with a three fading off of a screen and roll. It was the first play of the game for Ely and it was a 22 point game for Davies. Ely won 48-45 against a good East Central team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2837196' first='Shamarion' last='Evans'] of Fridley. The senior guard for the Tigers is scoring 14 points a game and he had 14 in this game as well to beat Superior. Evans is a downhill player that not only created his own offense but helped create for Tyler O'Dell who scored 17 points himself.

[player_tooltip player_id='2118459' first='Carson' last='McMichael'] of Blake. The senior guard knocked out eight threes for the Bears leading to a 40 point game. The Bears fell by one score but his incredible shooting night nearly helped Blake upset the number one team in Class A.

Gavin Wegerth of Grand Rapids. The Hawks beat Zimmerman 77-60 and they did so without one of their best players. Wegerth, a 6'2 sophomore guard, scored 17 points stepping forward as a playmaker and leading the team to a sixth win (6-3).

[player_tooltip player_id='1560745' first='DJ' last='Westman'] of Forest Lake. The Forest Lake guard had a 22 point game leading the Rangers past Duluth East 79-66. Westman is scoring 16.8 points a game this year and helped get his team to .500 on the year at 5-5 with the win (and player of the game honor).
