The Dream Lives On Classic - MVP and Sportsmanship Awards

He showed the ability to stop on a dime for another pull up and later buried a catch and shoot three from the top of the key. He consistently identified angles to get downhill and displayed sound shooting mechanics, staying balanced on every attempt with clean elbow alignment and steady focus on the target. He made an unselfish pass in transition and finished a layup on the opposite side of the basket. He understood how his scoring ability opened opportunities for teammates and found them accordingly. He added a pull up jumper in rhythm and manipulated the defense in transition for a behind the back pass. He played with strong tempo controlling and dictating pace throughout the game. He finished with 36 points on the day.     He instantly finished a lob catch attempt that turned into a catch and one. He knocked down a three from the right wing with a fluid stroke, added a baseline runner, and hit another three from the right corner. He showed unassuming athleticism multiple times throughout the game, then followed with a catch and shoot three from the left corner and another from the right. He displayed real shooting fluidity and found his rhythm early. He later delivered an impressive vertical dunk in transition off two feet and capped his performance with yet another right‑corner three.    Additional MVP Nathaniel Hosey ‘28 Thomas Jefferson JV Game Sportsmanship    He aggressively scored a transition layup, knocked down a catch and shoot three from the left corner, and created a drop‑off pass after strong penetration. He added a pull up midrange jumper and finished through traffic off the bounce, consistently applying pressure on the defense. He also sacrificed his body to save a loose ball and create an extra possession. He played hard from start to finish.     He used a shot fake and attacked the rim, then secured an offensive rebound in traffic and found a cutter for an easy layup. He provided solid post defense that led to a turnover, knocked down a spot‑up three from the left corner, and hit a baseline jumper. He later added another left corner catch and shoot three. Throughout the game, he continued to play hard regardless of the score.     Zaza, the electric lefty, knocked down a catch and shoot three from the top of the key and consistently rebounded outside his area. He guarded the ball full court, showing both quickness and strength. He penetrated from right to left to draw a foul and later converted a handed floater through contact. He added an offensive rebound layup and maintained high energy throughout the game.
