Johnson may not be a sleeper but he’s definitely not getting the attention he deserves. This shifty playmaker consistently gets in the paint, takes care of the ball, competes defensively and creates for others. He has the trust of the Raven’s coaching staff, he can play off the ball, make threes and can definitely make an impact at the next level. His strong play could lead to an All CHSAA, especially if Ray’s can do some damage.

Johnson is a talented playmaker that’s tough, fast, loves to push the pace and can score when his number is called. His decision making has improved, he can play off the ball, he’s a solid defender and holds valuable experience. The staff can trust him, he’s competitive, he’s coachable and should be in line for his best year yet.

Johnson continues to fly under the radar for the Ravens. He has shown terrific signs during his early years on varsity but now it’s his turn to try and lead St. Ray’s. The Senior is crafty, shifty, really quick and is always a tough cover. His decision making and three point shooting will most likely make or break the orange and blue. Can he get this historic program back in the championship discussion?

A true pg. Very crafty and great feel for the game. Shows poise and confidence in tight quarters or on the open floor. Runs the offense with the ability to score in spots.

Zaire averaged 11 ppg this past season. He is a true pg who can play the 2 spot as well. Very crafty with the ball. Has a great feel for the game. Can speed you up but not get sped up. Confident and poised.

Despite a relatively pedestrian scoring effort and leaving with a loss, Johnson was able to impress with his ability to make others better as a pure point guard. The southpaw nearly steered the Ravens back from more than 15 points behind with his efficient north-south play off the dribble. He was consistent in his ability to get to his spots before displaying impressive footwork and dexterity around the rim or spraying it out on-time and on-target to an open shooter. Johnson was also able to keep things honest from the perimeter himself with a compact lefty stroke. With a D1 offer already in tow, he projects as a clear scholarship-level lead guard for those who value an old-school skillset at that position.

A very quick heady guard. Handles the ball well. A lefty who can handle it with either hand. A creative shot maker. Gets into the paint and finds ways to score amongst the trees.

Zaza, the electric lefty, knocked down a catch and shoot three from the top of the key and consistently rebounded outside his area. He guarded the ball full court, showing both quickness and strength. He penetrated from right to left to draw a foul and later converted a handed floater through contact. He added an offensive rebound layup and maintained high energy throughout the game. He hit a left corner three off dribble penetration and a kick out from Todd Arrington Todd Arrington 5'11" | PG/CG St. Raymond | 2029 State NY , then finished through contact for an and one after another offensive rebound. He played quick and aggressive from start to finish.

A very crafty PG. Sees the floor really well. A cerebral floor general. He picks his spots when to score. Crafty finisher in the lane that can also nail jumpers.

He played at a steady pace throughout the weekend and competed with relentless energy. As a scrappy defender, he drew multiple charges and consistently disrupted opposing ball handlers. Offensively, he knocked down a catch-and-shoot corner three, hit a smooth pull-up three, and used his quickness to finish a transition layup with control.
