He got better each practice, worked hard for every minute and when his number got called he was ready. Now in his Sophomore campaign the expecations are starting to pick up, he looks strong in their preseason stuff and could be a big key to their success. This shifty playmaker consistently gets in the paint, takes care of the ball, competes defensively and creates for others. He has the trust of the Raven's coaching staff, he can play off the ball, make threes and can definitely make an impact at the next level. His role should expand throughout the season, he can create space, he can help on the boards and will help the Gaels win games. Scanlan will ask him to be a major force in the front court and log a lot of minutes against larger lineups. Vasquez could be one of those guys this year especially at Mount because of his skillset and opportunity. He's got some shake in his game, he can get by defenders, create space and rack up points. He's a big athletic forward that plays above the rim, blocks shots, gets out in transition and has a ton of upside. His game continues to blossom, he's coachable, smart, a good scorer around the basket plus has a great motor.
