The season is going quickly and in about a month and a half we will have state champions in all classes. Many players have showed improvements on the court and continue to get better. Here are 8 players who are maybe going under the radar a little.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685502' first='Darius' last='Alexander'] - 2026 - Emerald Ridge - A very under-recruited player here in the state of WA. Has been making big strides and playing really well his senior year for Emerald Ridge. He can get hot from deep, finding a rhythm and knocking down shots at a high clip. He also handles the ball well, keeping it close to him and rarely turning it over. He finds open teammates nicely and is a player coaches should put on their radars.

[player_tooltip player_id='2173112' first='Seamus' last='Williams'] - 2026 - Jackson - This guard has been showing continuous growth on the court over the past few seasons. He has proven to be a natural leader and a player who can lead his team in a variety of ways. He rarely turns the ball over and when the defense collapes in, he is always ready to find an open teammate for an easy shot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1685496' first='Jerome' last='Toby'] - 2026 - Lummi Nation - If you're local to Whatcom County and follow along with the basketball scene, you already know Toby. The 4 year varsity player just surpassed 2,000 career points scored and helped lead Lummi to it's 2nd ever state title last season. This season, they added a big man threat and Toby's pure PG instincts have been on display more than ever. He is quick with the ball and can stop on a dime to knock down shots. He facilitates the game very well and is someone who can play at the college level, easily.

[player_tooltip player_id='2375333' first='Zach' last='Albright'] - 2027 - Glaicer Peak - Zach is already a top football player in the entire state but on the court he excels for Glacier Peak. He is strong in the paint and works hard down by the basket. He uses his strength to out-body opposing players and finishes through contact really smoothly. His defense stands out too, being so athletic and agile on the court. I believe he could play at the college level if he chooses but given his success on the gridiron, I think we will see him playing on Saturdays soon.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548252' first='Jalen' last='Taylor'] - 2027 - Renton - Jalen takes advantage of his minutes on the court, adjusting well to what the defense gives him. His lefty shot has been getting more consistent and quicker out of his hands. He works hard for rebounds, crashing the glass every shot and being able to use his strength to out-body opposing guards and reads the ball off the rim quickly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2548217' first='Trevor' last='Faletto'] - 2028 - Chelan - Trevor has continued to get better on the court this season being able to make his offensive game as a whole. His patience on the court pays off as he uses the right opportunities to get his buckets. Faletto plays aggressive when attacking down-hill and isn't scared of contact in the paint. His jumper is reliable as he can knock down shots at a high clip. Trevor is a player to keep an eye on over the years.
