Skip Holiday Classic Standouts – Part 2

He showed that he can be a dangerous athletic shooter. He took an off balance triple and buried it with ease. He was ultra aggressive and wanted to get downhill with the ball. At the same time, he showed that he has range on his jumper. The junior was EASILY one of the best players in the game. He hit multiple triples, including contested 3's from the top and from the wing. That being said, 2 of his best plays of the day may have come off the pass. I think he had 2 points in the championship game, but that's just a testament to the fact that sometimes stats are useless. Essenmacher brings a steady hand that's willing to play whatever role is needed that night. He was a threat to score from both mid range and beyond the arc. Crosby connected with an off balance mid range jumper and then hit a contested baseline shot.
