Winton Woods and Bishop Hartley were in a very closely contested game until the 4th quarter, which is when Mack-Russell took the game over. He just started to put his head down and attack the rim. He has an impressive back-to-the-basket midrange game. He spins out of his post-up with such force and finishes above the rim and through contact so good. This has complemented his game so well because he is great in the full court and transition, but now has something that is as tough to stop in the half-court. His defense was also great. He is an incredible rim protector as he can go block the shot at any point with his length and leaping ability.

Bronson is the glue for this Winton Woods team. He is exactly what you want from your senior point guard. Woods has a lot of length and athleticism on the perimeter, but Bronson runs the whole show. He can handle pressure and control the speed at which the game is being played. He knows when to get it to the athletes for them to go dunk it. Then, when his playmaking ability starts breaking down the defense, Bronson starts hurting them with his own scoring. He can shoot the lights out and finish around the rim. He absorbs contact well. He has a high IQ for the game. Bronson is a massive reason Woods has not been beaten yet, and is a state title contender.

Quackenbush is the next guy for Newark that you know will just help you win games. He does everything right, plays the entire game, and shows no signs of fatigue. He is a strong and tough player. He was able to use this against the height of Toledo St. Francis to battle on the block and boards. Then, on offense, he finished so well around the rim. With contact, through traffic, and from tough angles. He can shoot it, so you can't leave him open. If you know Newark and the program history it has, you know the type of player Quackenbush is. Impressive 23 points and 11 rebounds in a tough win for 13-0 Newark.

Santiago Lugo is a sniper. He needs no space and can shoot it from anywhere after he crosses halfcourt. He has a nice size and length for a guard, and this allows him to make any shot on the floor, with defense not having any sort of impact. He comes off the screen with the intention to shoot the ball, which is great because it shows the level of confidence he has in his shooting. He does not get discouraged if he misses a shot. He is an unconscious shooter.

Calloway is one of the more veteran guards in the state and someone you can rely on and truly lean on; he showed that. In Hartley's game against Alder, he came out of the locker room with a different level of intensity and focus, and it completely flipped the game. He was tasked to handle the incredible pressure from Winton Woods, and he was able ot do that. He knew when to attack and score, but also dish when needed. He is a super selfless player, and this makes the defense never truly be able to collapse on him. He is finishing around the gym very well. He is not the biggest player, but he creates and absorbs contact so well. He has great body control and touch around the rim.
