Player Standouts at Hoop It Up Classic (Part Two) continues our look at the exceptional talent on display throughout the tournament. In this segment, we spotlight a new wave of athletes who are impressed with their energy, versatility, and ability to rise to the occasion in key moments. Whether through clutch scoring, tenacious defense, or leadership on the floor, these players demonstrated why they are among the region's most promising prospects, further raising the bar for future competitions.    Strong power interior big that affects the game on the glass, blocking shots, and defending in the paint. He has long arms and nice crafty and deceptive moves in close quarters. His energy level is tough for opposing players to match so he usually wins the matchup in the paint. His offensive game continues to improve every time I see him play. Offensively can finish around the rim. Step out and knock down the 15–17-foot jumper or scores over either shoulder when he gets the ball in the paint. Willing offensive rebounder and the ability to grab and go on the defensive boards is noticeable. Anton possesses soft hands and has a good understanding of how to play the interior game. Anton is no doubt one of the TOP BIGS in the District of Columbia regardless of class. Anton plays for Digital Pioneers Academy.     Caleb is a long forward that patrols the paint for his squad. He has nice athleticism and a quick jump enabling him to battle against bigger forwards in the paint. We see him moving out more to the perimeter as his games progress improving his ball skills.     Combines physicality, athleticism, some shiftiness as a playmaker. Excellent vision, intelligent passer, punishing finisher. Scores on the move nicely, sound shot mechanics, fluid & consistent w/dribble pull-ups, versatile. High academic.     Nothing changes for Donnell Jarrettexcept the day and gym that he plays in. He is always in GO mode. Always super productive on both ends of the floor. A legit knockdown 3pt shooter who knock down the three 3 pointers in the game against Archbishop Carroll…He scores the ball effortlessly however/ whenever he wants, and his aggressiveness and willing to compete on both ends of the floor is contagious against his teammates.     Shot it well from 3 (Knock down 3 threes in the Carroll game to finish with 13 points). Which is usual for Trent, but I love how much he put his head down and attacked the rim. Possesses great size for the guard position came out extremely aggressive and would like to see him be more consistent in his effort on both ends of the floor.     Jason is an athletic 2-way lead guard that scored the ball at all 3 levels. Good in isolations or pick and rolls. Really quick/Crafty! Scores it at 3 levels. A good passer. Gets after it defensively Scored 13 points in the Oxon Hill game.     Skilled shot creator with some wiggle off the bounce. He is a knock down perimeter shooter with good size, playmaking ability and legit 3pt shoot maker. Hughley is also a good positional rebounder and a sneaky athlete. Corey impressed with his ability to play on or off the ball. Scored 16 points in the Digital Pioneer Academy.
