On the Radar: New Name Risers in the 2026 Rankings

While you lock that in, let's take a look at some of the prospects who have been rising.     Dixon has had one of the biggest scoring leaps out of anyone else in the state and has made the most of the opportunity of being the focal point of the offense. He's finished in double figures in every single game of the year, he's shot the ball well from deep as a guy who can create for himself or stay shot ready when the ball rotates to him, and is always looking to attack. He's up to 17.3 points on the season and has also helped out on the boards. He's a prospect who we did not know too much about heading into the season, but his play has changed that. Big year for him.     Stern is another Pine Creek prospect who is about sacrifice. He's trying to make his mark the moment that he's on the court, and he's a pest on defense. We just want to see him elevate that a bit more. He has his moments where he has it offensively, he is aggressive when he's on the floor, and he battles for boards. He is also capable of getting hot from deep, and we saw that in a couple of games on the year. We want to see how he ups his game and that turns into wins as he's capable of it. He's a player who's making the rankings for the first time.     Luke is a multi-sport prospect whose athleticism puts him in the right spot. He plays off instincts, and that has led to some solid games. He started the year out with his best game of the season with 24 points. Since then, it's been a bit more of a read and react type of game where he battles on the boards (5.1 rpg), gets out in transition, and finishes and battles inside and out. When his feet are set, he is knock down and that forces defenses to have to adjust. He makes his debut in the rankings.     Lutheran is a team that we will hear more about with the return of their top prospect and All-State player from a season ago, but the player who has been leading the way for them this season is 6'3 shooting guard, [player_tooltip player_id='2926464' first='Logan' last='Clarkson']. Clarkson has been a steady scorer who gives them shooting but also balance. He doesn't force too many shots, although at times he feels as if he has the mismatch; he gets out and runs, and he brings toughness to the team. We want to see how his play continues for the rest of the season, but he does make a debut on the rankings.     Grand Junction has been impressive and a team that has looked like a contender. He's up to 11.5 points and has shown up big in the games that Grand Junction has needed him to. He's not a player who we knew too much about heading into the season, but his play has elevated him into the rankings. He's been tough, consistent and his rebounding has also had him as a standout on the year. He's the team's X-factor as they seem to play well when he's got it going. Solid start to Senior year for him.     [player_tooltip player_id='1915750' first='Wilson' last='Spencer'] has solid upside and will be a project, but he plays hard, and that effort is contagious. He rebounds well, he runs the floor, and sets screens and rolls. He's a team-first player, and that gives him minutes. He's a player we'd like to be more impactful on defense as we feel that he could be a difference-maker for the team. He makes the rankings for the first time with his play.     Pine Creek has difference-makers who try to impact the game by making high-effort plays and playing within the offense. Their Senior guard Okal is an example of that. He plays well both on and off ball, he rotates the ball to keep the defense honest, and he gets inside of the teeth of the defense to change up the flow. The offense seems to flow when he's in as he's not a player looking to only score, although he's had his moments this year. We'd like to see him continue to be an X-factor who can affect the game in ways other than scoring. He makes the rankings for the first time.
