This week I attended three games, Lima Sr @ Toledo Central Catholic, Cincinnati Woodward @ Newport and Cincinnati La Salle @ Cincinnati Moeller. In this article I'll break down the wing and forward standouts from those three contests.

The first half Carruthers played was the best I've seen in his career as he was aggressive as a finisher, attacking the offensive glass and had a slam dunk from the dunker spot. I loved seeing him rise up to the challenge against such a talented team and this performance was extremely impressive for a player who is looking to make a big senior season jump in an extremely competitive conference.

This was really my first time getting to watch Sito as he suffered an injury in the June team camp event I planned on watching him at this summer. I was excited to see him be the first guy off the bench on Tuesday night. Sito is a power athlete from the wing forward position who can really jump to finish layups, grab rebounds and contest shots. Sito also knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and fit right in an up-tempo contest. A name who will make his debut in our next rankings update, Sito is one of the more talented available seniors in the Toledo area.

One of the highest statistical performers in the CMAC, Lively is ninth in the conference in scoring and first in rebounds. A high flier, Lively did a nice job moving around the baseline to make himself available for dunker spot finishes on the block. Able to push the pace after steals and defensive rebounds, Lively wants to play in transition and go immediately when he gets the ball in his hands. A prospect who could thrive immediately at the JUCO level, Lively's production, size and athleticism makes him an intriguing prospect if he develops as a ball handler and shooter in college.

Farrell was skilled with the ball in his hands, making some patient finishes early in Newport's win over Cincinnati Woodward. Having a strong senior season, Farrell has become a nice secondary option next to [player_tooltip player_id='2326411' first='Amontae' last='Lowe'], who missed this game. Farrell's best move of the night came on an up and under move that got his defender off balance. Always fun to discover a new name you'd never heard of prior to the contest and that's exactly what Farrell is. Newport does have the talent to potentially shake things up in a crowded 9th region field.

One of the more dominant high school bigs in the 2027 class, Scales once again showed why he's one of the top players in the GCL. With excellent pick and roll chemistry with [player_tooltip player_id='2721843' first='Cj' last='Davis'], Scales had a couple dunks and layups off rolls to the rim from screens. Despite his size, Scales is athletic enough to throw down powerful dunks that got the strong traveling La Salle crowd going crazy. Overall I'm a big fan of Scales patience with the ball in his hands, his physicality and touch around the basket. Excited to see what La Salle can do the rest of this season as they should contend for a GCL-South title and could be even better next season.
