Who were the best junior shooters I saw in the holiday tournaments? During a nine day period I covered games from Jacobs, Elgin, Wheeling, Hinsdale Central, Jack Tosh, Collinsville, Pekin, Duster-Thomas, and Pontiac. These were the top 2027 shot makers!

[player_tooltip player_id='2413791' first='Carter' last='Martin'] (Lakes – 2027)

Martin really shot it well from deep in the game we saw at Hinkle. The junior 5'10” guard poured in four triples on his way to 20 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2802061' first='Nick' last='Stowasser'] (Crystal Lake South – 2027)

Stowasser is a 6'4” wing that was lights out with his shooting from the perimeter knocking in four threes in their first round win notching 25 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125608' first='Dawson' last='Charles'] (St. Viator – 2027)

Charles was money from three in their opening round win netting 4 of them as he scored 27 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2821321' first='Brady' last='May'] (Palatine – 2027)

Shooters with size always have value and that is exactly what May brings to the table. Effortless shot from beyond the arc as he was 5-5 from three in their first round win for 17 points while also grabbing 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125588' first='Bennett' last='Kammes'] (Glenbard West – 2027)

The junior knocked in multiple threes in their opening victory against Yorkville as he had 9 points all coming from the land of three!

[player_tooltip player_id='2415542' first='Nathan' last='Woods'] (Lyons – 2027)

Woods can really shoot the ball! The junior small forward is a plus spot up threat off the catch that can also get in the mid-range for crisp pull ups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2839876' first='Ryan' last='Dinnon'] (Andrew – 2027)

Dinnon was money against York as he poured in six from beyond the arc for 25 points. One of the better shooters in the junior class.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125664' first='Malik' last='Mahmoud'] (Andrew – 2027)

Mahmoud also shined from distance going 4-9 from deep for 15 points against York.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125660' first='Lamari' last='Carpenter'] (Glenbard North – 2027)

Carpenter started off their sweet 16 game feeling it from deep draining three of them in the opening minutes including a sick heat check step back!

Tate Aue (Lincoln – 2027)

Aue is a junior point guard from Lincoln that lit up the nets against MacAthur in the quarterfinals at Collinsville. He was 4-6 from three keeping his team in the game.

Jayden McDonald (Homewood Flossmoor – 2027)

McDonald put his name on our radar with an 18 point outing in the quarterfinals at Pontiac where he poured in jumpers one after another.

Tahj Tolliver (Manual – 2027)

Tolliver is a small guard that popped in their loss to Benet with his ability to connect on the long ball multiple times. He had 11 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125620' first='Duke' last='Ross'] (St. Ignatius – 2027)

Ross was lights out from deep in the semis against Glenbard East! The small forward drained 5-7 for 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists.
