Davis was among the quickest and shiftiest ball handlers and creators that we saw at Hoophall West. The 5-foot-10 junior was an automatic paint touch with his combination of speed, an explosive first step and the ability to change speeds and direction to keep defenders off-balance. Davis was balanced and measured in his approach to the position in his ability to manage scoring and distributing. In Friday's win over AZ Compass, Davis tallied 21 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals and the following day he dished out eight assists in a win over Faith Family.

Josiah Rose | 2028 | Faith Family (TX)

Rose has a well-packaged game at the combo guard spot, highlighted by his smooth shooting stroke off the catch and off the dribble and his ability to play on the ball as a primary handler and creator. The 6-foot-3 lefty is at his best when moving without the ball and finding spot-up areas to get off a clean look from three or handling and creating for himself and teammates in ball screen action. The sophomore had 10 points and six assists in a loss to CIA Bella Vista

[player_tooltip player_id='1150824' first='Kaden' last='House'] | 2026 | AZ Compass (AZ)

The attribute that always stands out when watching House is his level of compete throughout a game. The 6-foot-3 combo guard is a fiery personality who clearly enters every game believing that his team can get a win and he plays to win the game. House, who signed with Maryland, is always in attack mode in transition and his slithery movements allow him to get paint touches and his explosive vertical athleticism helps him finish above the rim. The senior didn't have his best three-point shooting effort on the weekend but his mid-range game was dialed in. House had 15 points on 7-for-11 from the field in a battle of Arizona prep schools win over CIA Bella Vista.

[player_tooltip player_id='1150823' first='Kalek' last='House'] | 2026 | AZ Compass (AZ)

Like his brother mentioned above, [player_tooltip player_id='1150823' first='Kalek' last='House'] is a high level competitor and scorer who will bring a dead-eye shooting stroke to Xavier next season. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard has deep and consistent range from three both off the catch and off the bounce and his ability to quickly elevate into his high release jumper allows him to shoot over the top of defenders and avoid contests. House scored 14 points, including 2-for-5 from behind-the-arc, in a win over CIA Bella Vista.

[player_tooltip player_id='2238210' first='King' last='Gibson'] | 2027 | SPIRE (OH)

Gibson is a super smooth scoring guard has the ability to take over a game - and carry a team - with his three-level scoring ability. The 6-foot-4 combo guard was breaking down defenders in isolation and getting into a balanced mid-range jumper going to his left and right hands and was efficient as a downhill scorer at the rim in transition. Gibson's ball-handling allowed him to get to his spots with ease and his tough shot-making frustrated opposing defenders. The highly-rated junior scored 19 points in a win over Faith Family and had 15 points, six assists, five rebounds and three steals in a win over AZ Compass.

[player_tooltip player_id='1464982' first='Miles' last='Sadler'] | 2026 | CIA Bella Vista (AZ)

Sadler is among the best point guards in the country when it comes to true feel for the game and modern positional makeup. The 5-foot-10 senior controls pace and tempo on both ends of the floor. Offensively, it is his ability to manipulate defenses with his high basketball IQ, elite transition and half-court vision and capacity to score in bunches when needed. Sadler impacts the game defensively, as well, with his on-ball pressure, quick hands and anticipation and smart decisions on when to dig down on a big to get a steal. The West Virginia-signee had 16 points, six assists and four rebounds in a win over Faith Family and 14 points, six rebounds and five assists in a loss to Compass Prep.
