Continuing to emerge quickly as one of the top sophomores in the state, Sallie shined from start to finish in an emphatic 27-point effort. One of the more dynamic shooters you'll find, he rained in a trio of deep 3s while displaying polished footwork, effortless range, and a lightning-quick release. More impressive was his work off the dribble, where he showed improved quickness and shiftiness while playing strong through physicality in search of his spots. Sallie plays with boundless confidence while displaying advanced court vision and useful creativity as both a passer and finisher. He has room to grow as a defender and finisher around the rim, with added strength expected to help in both regards. Overall he's someone that D1 coaches across levels should be starting to track closely.

Although it came in defeat, Sloane-Marks did his best to match Sallie with an active 23-point double-double. The rangy southpaw was effective working the high post as both a scorer and passer, and really shined on the offensive glass where he showed a never-ending motor that combined with his elite length to create a large handful of extra possessions. Sloane-Marks also stepped away from the rim to knock down 4 3s, showing a smooth release with his feet set. While he has some holes to iron out in his skill set, Sloane-Marks' combination of length, rebounding, perimeter shooting, and a relentless motor make for a promising foundation at the D1 level while he continues to put the pieces together.

Strine has made a case already this season as one of the most productive and intriguing freshmen in the state, keeping up his hot start with 17 points in Tuesday night's win. He impressed with his ability to keep things simple, playing efficiently off his jump shot while knocking down 5 3s in the process. His ability as a movement shooter is already advanced for a freshman, particularly at his size, with smooth footwork and a high release. Strine shows polish attacking off the bounce with flashes of athleticism near the basket, while consistently applying his length to chip in on the glass. His lack of quickness can be exposed at times right now but Strine nonetheless has the early makings of a long-term D1 prospect, with upside as he develops physically.

While he took a bit to settle into the game, Oloyede wound up putting together an effective performance up front with a near double-double despite the loss. A thin but rangy forward, he attacked the glass with high hands on his way to 10 boards, showing soft hands and swift technique while keeping the ball to finish in traffic. He also intrigues with flashes of shooting touch and a natural passing feel across situations. He's still coming into his own and will need to start incorporating some physicality in his game to contend with frontcourts at the next level but presents an interesting ball of clay for the right small-college program to mold.

With both teams having their primary scorers deliver standout performances, Big Spring was reliant on a third scorer to step up en route to the win, and Baranoski answered the bell with an efficient 20 points in a supporting role. An undersized off guard, he knocked down a quartet of catch-and-shoot 3s while showing keen instincts playing off his teammates. On the other end, he was active on the glass and in passing lanes within Big Spring's zone, leading to a pair of pick-six steals and layups. With his shotmaking and complementary instincts, Baranoski should have no issue finding his way onto a college roster when the time comes.
