Friday Night Standouts Minnesota Basketball

The junior scored 43 points in the 72-54 win as Roelofs is proving on a consistent basis he's a tough handle for Minnesota high school forwards. Roelofs is just too tall, moves too well laterally, and shoots well enough he's finding great success.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126447' first='Briggs' last='Sheridan'] - Sheridan is a six-foot-nine-inch 2027 forward from Farmington that led them past Eastview Friday 68-62 scoring 21 points. Sheridan has good footwork in the post, and his shooting ability from mid-range to beyond the 3-pointer arc make him a scoring threat on nearly every touch he gets.</p>   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Maple Grove Beats Edina in OT 76-73</h2>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1960892' first='Henry' last='Knutson'] - The 2026 senior scored 17 and hit the biggest shot of the game to send the game to OT. Knutson at the 2nd half buzzer nailed a pull-up 3-pointer to push the game to overtime. The six-foot-four-inch guard is a good secondary creator and can handle the ball when needed. Ann is a six-foot-five-inch guard that through December 29th was averaging 20 points per game for the Crimson. Ann started to make the transition to a guard in the summer before his sophomore year and hasn't looked back. The Crimson guard makes shots off the dribble, spotted-up, in transition and any other way that's possible.  </p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2126115' first='Vincent' last='Cronin'] - The six-foot-seven-inch 2027 wing from Edina Cronin scored 32 points Friday night versus Maple Grove. The 2027 Edina wing through January 5th was averaging 20.4 points and 7.2 rebounds. The 2028 six-foot-two-inch guard is hard not to talk about especially with the Bison improving to 12-1 on the season. Hegle doesn't ever seem to be sped-up offensively with the ball. He also moves the ball exceptionally well, and holds his own defensively.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2397563' first='Thomas' last='Jordan'], a fellow 2028 sophomore scored 17 points while 2027 junior [player_tooltip player_id='2126866' first='Matthew' last='Jordan'] scored 14 and his twin Tony Jordan scored 11 points.</p>   <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2491720' first='Alex' last='Stueven'] - Stueven a 2027 guard from NLWW hit 8 triples on his way to a 40 point game Tuesday night versus Norwood Young America. Friday night versus Rockford the junior scored 36 points for Howard Lake Waverly-Winstead in a 73-64 win. Waseca, who lost 4 of their first 5 games seems to have figured some things out as they are now 8-5.
