With a month left in their Freshman seasons, several players have emerged in this 2029 class over the last two months. On top of that, the class has a ton of depth across all positions. Especially in the back court. Here's a look at some of our biggest movers in this Freshman class ranking update.

Lynch is one of 4 freshmen who play a lot of minutes for Ashland and River does most of his damage as a shooter. To this point in the season, the shooter has only attempted 7 two point shots versus 38 threes taken. Of those 38, River is shooting 42% from range and is essentially a specialist at this point in the season. Long term, I expect Lynch to step into a bigger role next season as the Tomcats will have to replace 39 points of offense after graduation.

The Panthers are having one of the best seasons in school history. While West has not played a ton for Daviess County, he looks like he will be the next man up after graduation. A big wing with a smooth game, Aidan would play plenty on any other 3rd region team this season and could be the best freshman in the region. Long term, West is a name to keep an eye out for.

Kenyon is part of a really solid Murray roster that has been having a strong season so far. Cunningham is a slashing guard who gets into the paint and finishes. While he hasn't been able to get to the foul line often this season, I expect that to change as Cunningham gets comfortable taking contact on his way to the rim.

Jackson is a good sized wing who has earned a role on a veteran Trinity team as a Freshman. Capable of getting hot from range, Cam shoots over 40% from three and is locking down on defense when he wants to. Blessed with physical gifts, Jackson may be one of the best long term prospects in this class and I'm excited to see more of him.
