2027 District Standout Prospects: Houston Hoopers To Recruit

He consistently is putting up 20–30-point games and his impact has not been limited to just points. He is also a rebounding force on the glass with his height, and he can handle the ball as one of the primary offensive catalysts for Dickinson. He blocks shots under the basket with his athleticism and fundamental defense, and he can guard positions 1 through 5. He helps with press breaking and guard duties on offense, but he has the wingspan to shoot over perimeter defenders, and he can drive to the basket and draw fouls. Goolsby is a major sniper from long range, and it doesn't matter whether he is shooting off the dribble, catch and shoot spot shooting, or coming off a screen, he can knock down shots from anywhere. I like his aggressive and physical perimeter defense, as well as his ability to be vocal and let his teammates know where he is at during all possessions. He is a versatile two player at the guard slot that can impact the game through tough defensive plays and scoring from anywhere on offense. Martin creates for himself efficiently and balances his assists to scoring ratio effectively, always making sure he keeps his teammates involved. He is effective on defense, having the court awareness to play passing lanes and notch several steals per game that lead to easy fastbreak conversions.
