Troynelle Belle out of Dickinson HS is one of the most versatile forwards in the 2027 class not just in Houston, but in the entire state of Texas. Belle has great off ball movement and knows how to position himself perfectly to get baskets against mismatches in the post, as well as shoot the three-point shot with good efficiency. He possesses great footwork in the post as well as being able to handle the ball in transition and get stops on defense, able to guard positions 1 through 5. Explosively athletic, Belle attacks the rim with authority and has the ability to finish with highlight dunks. His strength and frame allow him to absorb contact, battle for rebounds, and defend physically without being easily moved off his spots. To reach the next level, he’ll need to add craft around the rim and improve his ability to create off the dribble against length. With his shooting, vertical athleticism, and physical edge, Belle has the tools to grow into a dangerous two-way player as his game develops.
