He's not afraid of any defender and will seize the opportunity to finish through contact every time. He's one of the best movers without the ball that I've seen recently - always seems to be in the right spots for easy buckets and rebounds. His awareness is outstanding on both ends, and he will snatch the ball defensively if he senses any sort of insecurity. He has incredible touch on his shot that he uses to his advantage - you'll often see him sinking driving layups with one hand while using his other to fend off opponents (without fouling, of course). He'll even throw in an occasional hook shot and sink it easily - that's how good his touch is. Robinson is the type of player who can come in and immediately create his own offense while stirring up chaos and confusion for the opposing defense.

If you're looking to bolster up your defense with a highly effective, lengthy two-way combo guard, Owen is your guy. His length and awareness stifles opponents on the defensive end with regularity. He has great hands and impressive anticipation when it comes to picking off passing lanes. He's a nice finisher on the drive and has a pretty touch to his shot that will only improve with more and more repetition. He's an absolute beast on the glass on both ends of the floor and he often comes up with additional opportunities at the rim for his team. He has a nice vertical leap and can wow the crowd with his dunks as well. He plays like he's an incredibly effective forward in the guard position, which showcases his versatility and all the different ways a coach could plug him into their squad.

Kenneth is a fast, efficient combo guard with an excellent ballhandling ability and a cannon of an arm for crosscourt passes to his streaking teammates. He analyzes opposing defenses incredibly well and takes his time finding the best shot available for his squad. Bigs love to play with Little and he loves to feed them consistently off the drive. He's a lefty with a nice shooting range and he hardly ever takes bad shots, leading to a consistently impressive field goal percentage. He doesn't shrink in pressure situations; it almost seems as if he craves them. He's aggressive when he needs to be and also has the wherewithal to know when it's more effective to be calm, collected, and patient. He's a lockdown defender and often seeks out the opposition's strongest offensive player - which I always love to see.

Treyshawn is a scary fast point guard that can finish on the fast break before the defense knows what happened. He's incredibly physical for his size and has an impressive vertical ability to go along with that mentality. It's hard for even highly skilled defenders to stay in front of him due to his overwhelming speed and his ability to turn on the afterburners in an instant when he sees an opening. He uses his leaping ability nicely on the defensive side of the ball as well - often swatting shots into space and sending his opponent packing. He has excellent footwork for a point guard, the kind of ability that reminds me more of a highly skilled forward in the lane. His versatility and quickness open up so many doors for his team and make his impact blatantly clear.

If you're looking to plug instant offense into your team, look no further than Shiloh. He can play either guard position on both ends and he's a consistent scoring machine. He makes good decisions regularly and has a nice sharpshooting ability that extends well beyond the arc. He often gets the benefit of the doubt on the bounce due to his shooting touch, and he scores in a variety of ways. He never shies from contact, and he gets to the line consistently. He's a good communicator and leader on the floor - you can tell his teammates look to him often. He outsmarts bigger defenders with the way he uses his body to create space on the drive and he's big enough that they can feel it. I have a feeling a lot of eyes will be on Galvan moving forward.

Many coaches are constantly on the lookout for players that can plug into their existing rosters and make immediate positive effects. Rosters are all different which makes their needs vary greatly. This is why it's so important for student athletes to make sure they're consistently working on every aspect of their game. The handful of players below have done just that, and they show it on the court.
