The Zero Gravity Prep Classic, one of the nation's best high school basketball events of the year, just wrapped up in Stoughton, MA, on Sunday, December 7th. Over 80 teams were in attendance from throughout the country (mostly the northeast), and I'll have coverage over the next couple weeks reviewing tons of players.

As always, it's incredibly difficult to watch every team and every game, so I watch as much as I can and have standouts from what I watch. I'm always happy to talk to coaches about guys that I may have overlooked.

To continue on, let's look at some Friday night studs.

Booth was probably Milton's most dominant player on Friday night. The 6-foot-9 big man has exceptional strength in the post and used his drop step moves and footwork to destroy Governor's bigs. He has gotten a lot more skilled as of late and is going to be garnering some scholarship looks with his combination of physical tools and post presence.

Org has developed his game as much as any other player in the NEPSAC from year to year. The 6-foot-6 wing/big has always had the energy and communication intangibles, but his offensive game finally looks to be coming together. He had multiple impressive spin moves in the post and had some really great finishes in the paint against much bigger players on Friday night. Org is slowly figuring it out and should get D3 looks.

McNamara used to be labeled as a non-shooter, but he came out of the gates against Suffield and shot the lights out. His shot looks a lot more compact and smooth, and he's finally starting to realize how he can use his body in the paint. Defensively, he has ridiculous versatility and can guard 1-5 because of his physicality and length. He's a unique archetype who scholarship schools should be interested in.

Moses has come out of nowhere for Suffield and looks to be one of their better players. The 6-foot-3 guard has awesome pace with his dribble game and can score from all three levels; he hit multiple threes off the catch and off the dribble, and he can also finish with both hands quite athletically at the rim. Defensively, has has active hands and is always engaged. Big time riser from the prep showcase.

Gordon is always one of my favorite players to watch, and I really liked what he showed against St. Luke's on Friday night. The Bates commit has awesome discernment in the pick and roll, but he looks a lot more aggressive this year and really excelled as a three point shooter to start the weekend. He's a really excellent shooter who will probably walk right into playing time at Bates next season if I had to guess. He's as solid as they come on both ends.

Newsom is an athletic specimen who's quite versatile on the court as a result of his combination of size, strength and coordination. He had some awesome bump-off moves against Brewster and is a really special finisher at the rim with both hands. The 6-foot-4 wing is going to turn heads this season for St. Luke's and should get scholarship looks as he continues to put up numbers.

Okafor is a versatile wing/big who can do anything you ask of him on either end. The 6-foot-6 junior has really good strength, length and athleticism, and he's able to finish around bigger guys as a result. He also has a solid looking shot and is an unselfish passer, two skills he showed off against Brimmer. He's a relatively raw player, but he should continue getting better and could get scholarship looks in short order.

Payne had a vintage performance against Rivers on Friday night, showcasing his incredible ability to get downhill and make plays for himself and others. The 6-foot-2 guard can score from all three levels and has continuously improved his shooting stroke every time I've seen him in the past couple years. He's a mid major division one player who continues to be under-recruited.
