Mascitti, a senior forward out of Williamstown High School, has a chance to be the breakout player of the season in the VPA. The 6'7" forward is coming off of a strong summer and looks bigger, stronger, and more athletic than last year. He has the ability to make threes in catch and shoot situations, operates as a playmaker from the top of the key, and can score over either shoulder with his back to the basket. Defensively, there might not be a better rim protector in the state.

Avdibegovic, a senior forward out of South Burlington High School, will play a major role in his team's bid to make a run at a state championship. A nightly double-double threat, he plays with a terrific two-way motor that allows him to gobble up rebounds on both ends of the floor. He's a strong screener, does a nice job of rolling hard to the rim, and has a good set of hands. He's improved as a finisher and is capable of scoring through contact in the paint.

Sparks, a senior forward out of Rutland High School, stands out with his combination of size, strength, and effort. He excels defensively as a rim protector, rebounder, and vocal back line of defense. Offensively, he has touch out to the three, allowing him to operate as a roller or pop guy out of screens. He can attack the basket in straight lines drives and has the athleticism to finisher over defenders at the rim. On top of that, he's a terrific rim runner in transition.

Stewart, a senior forward out of Twinfield Union High School, makes his mark as one of the most versatile two-way players in the state. He can handle the ball in space, has good burst when he gets downhill, and is able to finish in a variety of ways around the rim. He continues to expand his range as a shooter and does a great job of putting pressure on the defense in transition. On the other end of the floor, he guards all five positions and uses his length and athleticism to his advantage in passing lanes and around the rim as a shot blocker.
