<p>The Annual Jim Tracey Tournament held at Reavis High School took place during the week of November 24th. These 8 players had standout performances and stellar play throughout the entire week of games. </p>

<p>Johnson was awarded tournament MVP with his stellar and consistent play throughout the week. Johnson led the scoring for his team in two out of the three games with 13 and 15 points. He is great at attacking the rim, being able to finish through contact. Johnson has a quick burst allowing him to push the ball effectively in transition. Defensively, Johnson can guard multiple positions and is very vocal on and off the floor, staying engaged in the game. </p>

<p>Johnson was awarded all tournament team for his excellent play during the tournament. He is a great finisher at the rim and can finish high over the defenders. Johnson is poised with the ball in the post, waiting for the right moment to go up with the shot. With Johnson being laterally quick, he can switch on to any player and be effective defensively. He can deter shots at the rim and get steals on ball, making him a pest of defense. </p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2433458' first='Will' last='Hooks'] (2026) | 6'2 F | Carl Sandburg High School</p>

<p>Hooks was named to the all tournament team for his excellent play on both ends of the floor. Hooks was super active on the boards on offense and defense, getting plenty of rebounds and tips allowing for second chances. Hooks was very effective in transition, running the floor and making himself open for easy buckets on the offensive end. </p>

<p>Edward Van Dellen (2028) | 5'11 PG | Chicago Christian High School</p>

<p>Van Dellen was named to the all tournament team. He is a crafty ball handler with many counters to the defense. Van Dellen showcased his efficiency from beyond the arc with a smooth jumpshot, knocking down plenty of threes this week. He is an unselfish player who makes the right pass and has the ability to find open teammates anywhere on the floor. </p>

<p>Nick Pryor (2026) | F/C | Reavis High School</p>

<p>Pryor has a multitude of ways to get himself open at the rim. He uses euro steps, spins, and slow steps very effectively to get good looks. Pryor uses a good pumpfake to get defenders to bite, allowing him to attack the rim. He also showed the ability to play off two feet, which allows him to make the right reads. Defensively, Pryor was getting up and denying shots, being a rim protector for his team. </p>

<p>Jake Tomczak (2027) | PG | Carl Sandburg High School</p>

<p>Tomczak is a point guard with great passing abilities (10 assists in one game) and the ability to finish at the rim. He can find teammates in transition and in the half court, making tough passes. Tomczak makes great reads with the ball in his hands and rarely turns the ball over. He is active on the offensive boards, getting extra possessions for his team.</p>

<p>Kacper Szymula (2026) | SG | Reavis High School</p>

<p>Szymula started the week by making 8 threes on efficient shooting in a win. He is a knockdown shooter with a smooth release. Because defenses must honor his three-point shot, he creates better spacing and opens up opportunities for his teammates. He is a good mover off the ball, finding open spots in the defense to get open looks. Szymula plays well when coming off screens and flares, getting shots off fast with a quick release. </p>

<p>Damarion Dixon (2026) | 5'11 PG | Reavis High School</p>

<p>Dixon is a great lead guard for his team, showcasing his passing skills and downhill driving abilities the entire week. He is a floor general who keeps his eyes up the court and can make difficult passes. Dixon has a knack for drawing fouls and getting to the line. He is an unselfish teammate, making the right pass and taking charges when needed. </p>
