We review your video once again! What do we see from the video you have shared? What level of prospect do we think YOU are? Let's dive in!

[player_tooltip player_id='1560797' first='Jaxon' last='Boschee'] of Brainerd (Sr). What really standouts to me about Jaxon is two things: 1) his numbers right now of 30 points a game on 48 percent three point shooting, 94 percent foul shooting and 49 percent field goal shooting against defenses designed to be in his space, are outstanding, and 2) his ability to make shots in small windows off the pull-up, step back, ball screen, or curling a screen. Shooters at the next level have less space to work with and shots are going to be more contested within those small windows. Boschee is making shots in those small windows for his 30 and that is a special basketball trait.

Prospect Grade: Jaxon is a division two level point guard and I expect by the end of the year he will be accepting a scholarship from one of those schools. I have great faith in it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126126' first='Ray' last='Brau'] of Hibbing (Jr). The double-double tour is on and Ray just had 29 & 12 against East Central and then 25 & 13 beating Cloquet. What I like about Ray is that he knows who he is and he dominates with it. His spin move is so sudden that it leaves guys frozen, it's like he's Arnold as Mr. Freeze. A tough player that battles in the paint finishing on either side, but a hustle guy too that gets up the floor well. Good passer, good in help defense, should be court IQ ready on both ends when he gets to college.

Prospect Grade: I would say Ray is in that 6'6/6'7 area as he does seem taller and certainly stronger. A feel like he is a perfect fit for the NSIC and should have a lot of D2 options. Tough and smart, physically and mentally ready for that level. Plays hard and runs well, will do more to you with his strength and smarts, less with bounce and agility, I think the Northern Sun will be all over him.

Romello Horton of St. Paul Highland Park (Sr). Horton is a 6'4 and strong forward and I am glad he hit us up as there are no Highland stats to see. And Horton looks like a player to check out from the Scots. He recently had 14 points, five boards and five assists in a one score loss to Kennedy. Horton is a frontcourt player that uses his body well to score, to back a guy down and turn, to board, and to set good screens.

Prospect Grade: Undersized big which often places guys in the UMAC D3 area or at a juco in the area, and I think those schools should give Romelllo a look. He looks like a guy that can set the high ball screen, be a high post dribble entry for the dribble pitch, or to turn and hit cutters, or to move it to the wing and then set the ball screen. Could be molded into that type of strong high post guy that works his way down.

[player_tooltip player_id='2126151' first='Marco' last='London'] of South St. Paul (Jr). The Packers are 4-2 and they have four players that are scoring in double figures and Marco has been a big reason for that. He just had a 22 point, five assist game for the Packers against North St. Paul. Hit six threes in the win over the Polars and the shots taken, were within an offensive flow. Marco is a point guard and the primary job for him is moving the ball to balance the floor and make his teammates comfortable and he does that, while taking shots within the halfcourt flow.

Prospect Grade: This is one of those high school athletes that plays lead guard and plays quarterback football wise. He is 5'10 which is an uphill battle but that doesn't mean it's a wall. Guys like London with quickness, leadership, and experience winning, they surely can get looks at the junior college and D3 levels.

Braxydn Male of Esko (Soph). I was really surprised at how quick and athletic Male is. He's really quick with that first dribble, has good bounce and really good body control going to the rim. Is able to score at the rim when contested because of that bounce getting over the top, and because of that body control to take contact and stay balanced to finish. Had 21 points and six boards against Mora.

Prospect Grade. Male will move up in the next prospect rankings as he is a better athlete than I thought and is really scoring for Esko. He is a guy that I think can play on a top five or six AAU team in the state at his grade. He is a 6'1 scorer which is going to be more D2 these days and if Male keeps progressing like he has there is a real chance he can be one of those D2 scoring guards they consider.

[player_tooltip player_id='2271330' first='Trey' last='Parker'] of Apple Valley (Sr). There is a ton of [player_tooltip player_id='2271330' first='Trey' last='Parker'] momentum right now as lots of basketball fans and high school coaches are talking about him. He just scored 38 against Shakopee and has the Eagles in the top ten still. Any time you make seven threes in a game it looks great. But when you can pair those seven with basket attacks, that is what a scorer does. Parker appears to use his right and his left equally well both with the dribble and the finish, and I really like the finishing form on the jumper. The young man is scoring 24 points a game and is pushing for All State recognition at the AAAA level and a push up the prospect rankings.

Prospect Grade: I view Parker as a scoring guard but have seen him do some stuff bringing the ball up. Right now D1 schools have sent the message.... we are not recruiting combo guards at 6'2 and under out of high school. That has pushed the market down to D1 caliber guards now playing D2 and we have seen a lot of that locally. Because of that I think Parker is in a long jam spot wise BUT there is still a place for it and he could be that guy that D2 teams pursue if he continues to have this type of season. We have seen players get that late D2 partial, we have seen guys go to NAIA like Jalen Langsy, and we have seen some guys start at the MIAC. Trey will have a lot of options in that area especially if he keeps shooting at a 40 plus percent clip at the arc because colleges love shooters.

[player_tooltip player_id='2140620' first='Gus' last='Vollmuth'] of Bloomington Jefferson (Jr). Jefferson has won a couple games and that is a couple more than I think some expected. Gus is the leader in assists for the Jags and second in scoring. He is a 6'2, 150 pound lead guard that has a great court read. Love his cutter hits, Gus has a good looking jumper and he has some crafty attacks especially against Coon Rapids. Scored 22 points on 8 of 11 shooting with five assists.

Prospect Grade: Need to see more of Gus but a good first impression. If you are a 17u team looking for a lead guard, Gus is a really steady player and I would check him out soon. Good floor reads that creates for others.
