RIIL Upperclassmen: Guards to Watch

He does his work before the catch, has a quick release, and works hard off the ball to get open. He knows how to attack bad closeouts off the bounce, does a nice job of finding his shots within the flow of the offense, and can handle the ball in transition. He's got great vision as a playmaker, particularly in the half-court where he shows the ability to operate out of ball screens or to create off the bounce. He is a multi-level scorer that has the ability to play on or off the ball in the half-court. He does a nice job of taking care of the basketball as a driver, can finish in a variety of ways over size in the paint, and does a nice job of moving without the basketball. Coming off of an injury, he'll be looking to make his mark with his versatile offensive game. He has some real wiggle with the ball in his hands, a quick first step when he gets downhill, and a variety of finishing moves around the rim. He can make tough shots in the mid-range and continues to improve as a perimeter shooter.
