RIIL Early-Season Standout Scorers

The lefty is one of the state's top perimeter shooters, capable of making threes in bunches either as an on-ball scorer or off the ball in catch and shoot situations. He has in the gym range and a quick release on his shot, both of which make him a tough cover for opposing defenses. Tamke is another high level shot maker, showing a good understanding of how to move off of drives and how to use screens to get open. He's a willing ball mover that does a good job of running the floor in transition, makes good decisions in dribble hand-off actions, and is always shot ready in catch and shoot situations. Hope</em>. Arguably the most well-rounded scorer in the state, Wilson is an athletic and physically advanced guard that shows a great understanding of how to play at different speeds and to get to his scoring spots. He's a capable perimeter shooter, finishes with touch and creativity around the rim, and shows the ability to make tough shots in the mid-range. He has a deep bag as a scorer, showing the ability to get it done at all three levels. He's a movement shooter that knows how to use screens to get open, plays with physicality as a driver, and elevates quickly to get his shot off over defenders in the mid-range. He impresses with his decision making and ability to finish plays off of the bounce as a driver. One of the state's top two-way wings, Tarro is an impressive athlete that does a great job of using his physical tools to make plays in space. He's a high level rebounder and versatile defender that does a great job of pushing the tempo in transition, where he uses his length and burst to score around the rim.
