The Return to the Mac event took place on Saturday on the campus of the University of Oregon, and eight high school games were played on the floor of McArthur Court for the first time since 2011. We had the opportunity to watch all the action and here are some more standouts from the Classes of 2027.

[player_tooltip player_id='2132795' first='Malachi' last='Garlington'] (2027 Nelson)

Garlington immediately showed off his immense athleticism by capturing the ball from the opening tip and rushing down the floor for an electric two-handed slam. He added more athletic finishes to the highlight reel later in the game and pulled boards from above the rim, to the tune of 18 points and 5 rebounds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2026060' first='Jaydon' last='Schregardus'] (2027 Nelson)

With [player_tooltip player_id='2026057' first='Braylon' last='Gaines'] out due to injury, Schregardus shifted over to the point and did so with great results. Known best as a shooter, the junior did knock down a couple of deep threes but did a good job running the show for the Hawks and finished with 14 points and 3 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='2313999' first='Cooper' last='Day'] (2027 Nelson)

Day made the most out of the minutes he got for the Hawks against North Medford, nailing a couple of catch-and-shoot threes but also was able to create a bit for his other two scores. He did so without forcing anything and finished with 10 points and 3 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='2026086' first='Alonzo' last='Reyes'] (2027 Churchill)

Reyes competed and played with toughness on both ends of the floor, showing poise at the point guard spot. He set up teammates but also got some scores of his own, winding up with 11 points, 5 rebounds, and 6 assists working alongside TJ Wright.

Keller Vinyard (2027 Marshfield)

One of the elder statesmen of a very young Marshfield team, Vinyard had some good aggressiveness going to the basket and showed off a spin move off the drive that was very difficult to stop. Finishing with 15 points and 7 rebounds, he'll be a tough matchup in 4A at 6-foot-3 and good athleticism.

Douglas Green (2027 Pleasant Hill)

Standing 6-foot-3 - and likely still growing - with a very smooth shooting stroke, Green strikes intrigue as a wing prospect. The junior hit a couple of threes and a couple of pull-up jumpers in the lane to score 10 points while grabbing 5 rebounds.

Tyson Donnerberg (2027 West Linn)

A varsity newcomer at West Linn, Donnerberg played as if he wasn't inexperienced at all in West Linn's win over South Eugene. The 6-foot-2 junior was aggressive attacking the basket and drawing contact, rewarding him with free throw opportunities. He wound up with 12 points, 5 of which were from the charity stripe.

[player_tooltip player_id='2134770' first='Elijah' last='Gabriel'] (2027 South Eugene)

Tough loss but a productive game for Gabriel for the Axe. 13 points getting downhill on some tough drives into the lane, drawing contact and getting to the free throw line. The junior worked hard on the boards pulling down 11 rebounds while also dishing out 4 assists.
