Lovejoy is a shifty and slick guard that's trusted with a lot of freedom in the offense. There just weren't any guards that could stay in front of him throughout the course of a possession. Lovejoy just seemed to know that eventually he was finding or creating a lane or open space. When he did, he turned it into buckets.

Jackson was very impressive. He has a strong frame and seemed to know how to use it. Jackson was a playmaker, especially around the rim. He had a nose for the ball and a feel for the rim. Jackson was able to play through contact, draw fouls and get to the free throw line.

It was easy to see the superstar in Cam Ryans' game. He showed that he was a threat to score in so many ways. Ryans hit mid range jumpers and used a side step to avoid a defender and then a straight line take to the rim. He added a flip in put back and showed his ability to shoot from beyond the arc off the catch.

Williams came out with his foot on the gas and never let off. He looked very confident in his jumper. Williams hit 2 huge catch and shoot triples early in the game. He kept shooting at a high percentage throughout the contest. I was impressed with Williams ball handling and how much he was entrusted with it and how effective he was against mild pressure,

Cooley was electric in the win against Lansing Waverly. He was feeling his jumper and hit multiple threes. Cooley was able to control pace and helped extend the lead by beating the defense down the floor. He did it with both the down court pass and by speeding down the court and being the recipient of the pass. Even more impressive was that he was consistently 1 of the first 2 back on D.
