[player_tooltip player_id='2309944' first='Josiah' last='Harrington'] showed his elite size, athleticism, and skill throughout this first game of the season. Josiah owned the paint throughout this game. His elite vertical and contact balance made him extremely efficient at the rim. His touch around the rim is soft on both his drives and post-ups. If he can get even a decent look around the rim, it's going in. His elite rim pressure also made him amazing at drawing fouls. He is physical and his footwork is brilliant. This led to many free throws and efficient baskets, filling his shot diet. His bag of tricks in the mid-range is equally deep. He created heaps of space with his explosiveness towards the rim, and had no issue pulling up and making defenders pay with tough fadeaways that he creates with his fluid footwork. Defensively, he was probably the most impactful player on the court. He was elite as a perimeter defender and completely stonewalled opponents' drives to the rim. He locked opponents up at the point of attack while also getting in passing lanes and creating turnovers. However, he also blocked shots and protected the rim for his squad as well. His length and explosiveness made him a constant deterrent in the paint. [player_tooltip player_id='2309944' first='Josiah' last='Harrington'] is extremely versatile on both sides of the ball.

Jeremiah Wasphun was a scoring machine in the first game of the season. He was elite behind the three-point line and has deep range as a shooter. If given any space, he was able to get his shot off and cash in at a high rate. Both in the mid-range and behind the arc, he was a lethal sniper with high efficiency even when contested. His mid-range scoring was unguardable in this game. His touch is soft on these shots and he can finish through and over contests with tough fadeaways. He was great at using his body and footwork to create space for himself inside the arc. And this ability to finish through contact was also very showing at the rim, where he got paint touches at will and finished through thickets of defenders like it was nothing. Even at high speeds his touch didn't waver. He was elite at shoving defenders out of the way while sprinting downhill and still finishing at a high clip. Jeremiah Wasphun had 40 points in this game, showing his scoring chops. And with his skill set, more games like this are only inevitable.

[player_tooltip player_id='2523928' first='Vasaun' last='Wilmington'] showed his pure point guard abilities in this first game of the season. Vasaun was an absolute flamethrower behind the three-point arc. Both off the dribble and off the catch he is widely efficient and showcased an extremely brief release. Defenders couldn't give him any room, and he would break them down off the dribble consistently and get to the rim for tough layups. His midrange creation was also very impressive and fluid in this game. He was a true three-level scorer throughout this game. His scoring threat also elevated his playmaking abilities. His handle was great and he used it to get into advantageous positions and dime his teammates for great looks. He also offered a huge impact on the glass, coming down with many rebounds, and was an extremely impactful defender, collecting many steals both in passing lanes and stripping opposing ball handlers. [player_tooltip player_id='2523928' first='Vasaun' last='Wilmington'] showed his elite skill and versatility throughout this first game of the season.

Asher Kahn displayed his elite shooting abilities throughout this first game of the season. Asher stretches the floor at a high level and has an especially quick release behind the three-point line. Off the catch, you couldn't give him any room in this game. When his teammates found him, he made sure they didn't regret it, knocking down a flurry of threes and keeping the defense honest with his scoring threat. His mechanics are perfect and he always looks comfortable rising into his shot, even through contests. This shooting threat also allowed him to attack closeouts and get looks around the rim as well. And his shooting touch was very much evident in these scenarios as well. His ball handling and passing were also very impressive, while also showcasing some defensive ability on the perimeter. Asher Kahn is the definition of a floor spacer.
