I feel as if Frederick has been a team full of offensive firepower to start out the season, as they have backcourt depth that can compete with anybody in the state. To begin the season, it has been Burton who has provided the spark for the team. He's been a primary scorer as a new name to know and seems to have a good feel for the game. He's put up 8.7 points a game with his ability to shoot the 3-ball and get inside as well. Burton has been a player who has done it all for the team. He rebounds hard as he's recorded 3 or more in each game, and also is an unselfish passer who makes the right play. He's a name to know this season and one we will follow.

Evans has been electric to start the season, even in lopsided wins. He's knocking down threes, attacking downhill, and disrupting opposing guards defensively. His ability to stay engaged in blowouts speaks to his motor but ability to understand the situation. With him, it's not only about scoring, but he's also one of the top assisters in the conference, and also he has plenty of steals. He's able to affect the game without having to rely only on scoring. Holy Family's pace benefits from his energy, and he's been one of the early surprises.

Verhoogen has quietly been one of the more consistent two-way contributors in the conference as Niwot has surprised some teams. He does his damage inside as he's rebounding, finishing through traffic, and bringing energy. His stat line reflects reliability rather than flash, but the impact is what stands out. He's doing exactly what's asked of him and elevating the play of others. Players like this often tilt close games, and his presence has been felt early.

Davis has stepped into a bigger role and handled it well for Frederick. He's scoring efficiently, rebounding, and making plays in transition, and that has made him one of the consistent and trusted players on the team. Frederick's depth has benefited from his emergence, and he's become a reliable option when momentum is needed. His ability to stretch the floor and compete defensively gives the lineup flexibility. He's trending up and firmly in the X-factor category.

Devan has been one of the more unexpected guards to pop early. He has good size at 6'2, a confident handle, and he plays with confidence while controlling tempo. He's scoring in multiple ways, facilitating, and pushing pace in transition, but also is slashing and finishing at the basket. Despite his team not getting off to the start they expected, he's been having some big scoring nights and is starting to find his rhythm coming off back-to-back double-figure games. He's also mixed in some all-around contributions early on. Legacy thrives when he's aggressive, and his ability to impact without dominating the ball has stood out.
