The MIAA season is in full swing, and I've gotten to watch a solid number of the higher-ranked teams so far, whether in person or via stream. There are obviously too many teams and players to see them all, but I try to get out to see as many as possible (which is difficult while being a college coach, so bear with me).

Over the next couple days, I'll be covering some of the most impressive players I've seen.

Read: MIAA early-season round up: new names on my radar

To continue on, here are some unsigned senior wings and forwards — these are all guys who have impressed early on and should be viewed as potential D3 or reclass candidates.

Stamm is a strong and athletic wing who dominates the competition with his combination of size and athleticism. He has an awkward looking outside shot—though he can hit it from the mid range—so he's mostly content getting to the rim and finishing with contact using either his right or left hand. Stamm should get some division 3 college looks because of the potential for his game to translate to the next level, though an improved outside shot would really make his recruitment skyrocket. Regardless, he fits in physically and athletically right now at the D3 level.

Vella was relatively dominant in the one game I watched him play so far this season against Gloucester. The 6-foot-6 forward got tons boards on both ends and is a rim deterrent because of his size and length. Offensively, he has a surprisingly good handle for his size and can finish in the paint with both hands comfortably. He has solid passing instincts and can even knock down an outside shot, too. Vella should slot in nicely at the division 3 level and could even be a star if he continues to develop his outside shot and guard/wing skills, which I wouldn't be surprised to see him do. I wonder if he'll find a post grad option or will go to college right away.

Cormier is an intriguing prospect whose combination of size and skill you simply don't see in the MIAA. He's 6-foot-8, but he can handle the ball and has some pretty good wiggle with his footwork and craft in the paint. Hit outside shot is solid, too, though he really needs to make it quicker if he wants to effectively get it off at the next level. Cormier is shaping up to be a pretty awesome post grad candidate as he has recently grown even more and needs some time to figure out his body. Once he does, though, Cormier should be an awesome D3 prospect or could perhaps even go higher if everything goes his way and he grows more.

Faulk is a brick wall and provides toughness and versatility on both ends of the floor for a Bridgewater-Raynham squad that's going to potentially make a title run this year. The 6-foot-3 wing can handle the ball and get to his spots offensively, and he's an above the rim finisher once he gets there. He's also an unselfish passer and has great vision and instincts. Defensively, though, is where Faulk really excels. He did an excellent job on New Bedford's best player in a highly touted matchup, and he's able to guard a variety of positions because of his physicality and quickness. Definite D3 player.

Santos is a stretch forward who hit a bunch of shots from the perimeter against New Bedford in an early season match up. He has a nice looking release, and his size and length allows him to get it off comfortably. He also really excelled as a rim protector, timing up multiple blocks and deterring many other drives. The even-keeled senior needs to improve his handle and make himself more of a driver, but his size and length alone will get him a good number of division 3 looks. He has some potential to get a lot better, too.

English is a breath of fresh air out on the basketball floor. He doesn't have a single weakness and only adds to his squad on both ends of the court. The 6-foot-3 senior recently returned from a serious knee injury, so he's still getting his athleticism back, but he shoots it well offensively and decisively attacks closeouts when the defense overplays him. Most impressive is his passing ability once he gets into the paint, though; he has excellent vision and is such a willing facilitator even though he can often craft his way to the hoop for finishes with both hands. English should be getting D3 looks and will most definitely make his college coach very happy wherever he lands.

Maxwell is fairly dominant whenever I watch him play in an MIAA game. The 6-foot-4 wing is simply too strong and athletic for his public school counterparts, and he effortlessly gets to the front of the rim for finishes and dunks. He has a good handle and nice combo moves, and he can even make an outside shot occasionally, though some more consistency here would be huge for him. If Maxwell can improve his feel and passing ability, I could see him getting some very high level D3 looks. But playing another year at a prep school would certainly help him improve and potentially get to an even higher level.

The MIAA season is in full swing, and I've gotten to watch a solid number of the higher-ranked teams so far, whether in person or via stream. There are obviously too many teams and players to see them all, but I try to get out to see as many as possible (which is difficult while being a college coach, so bear with me).
