[player_tooltip player_id='1943740' first='Marco' last='Mattucci'] showed why he's a Toledo commit with a strong second half. After scoring five first-half points on a tough layup and pull-up three, he settled in as New Albany ran more offense through him. He finished through contact, knocked down a big three, and added a pair of steals that led to a momentum-changing dunk. Mattucci capped it with another dunk on a backdoor cut to start the 4th and finished with 16 points, scoring at all three levels.

Evan is an intriguing 6'6 Division 1 football prospect, who also has the ability to play college basketball is he chooses. His size made an immediate impact. Murfield took full advantage of his frame he was very active on the offensive end as he was crashing the boards and grabbed a few offensive rebounds. He also scored a few points in the paint and showed that he can step out as he hit a three in the first. In the second half he was just as effective being active in the paint. Creating more opportunities on offense and being a solid rim protector. Murfield finished with 12 points, going 5-8 from the free throw line.

Ryan set the tone early, making life difficult for opponents with his disruptive defense and showing flashes offensively. He was active throughout the game, coming up with steals, and making it tough for his matchup to score. Offensively he scored just two points in the first half but came alive in the third quarter, scoring efficiently from all three levels. He showcased his ability to attack the basket with a couple of strong drives, including an and-one finish, knocked down a timely three-pointer, and also demonstrated post scoring ability with a strong finish inside. An athletic guard, Ryan impacts the game on both ends of the floor with his defensive intensity, scoring versatility and relentless motor.

I was impressed with Steve on Friday night. The 5'10 freshman made an immediate impact off the bench, knocking down two threes and a pull-up jumper in the first quarter to spark Gahanna. After earning a second-half start, he took on the challenge of guarding Toledo commit [player_tooltip player_id='1943740' first='Marco' last='Mattucci'] a few possessions and forced some tough looks. He added another pull-up jumper in the fourth, played with great energy and leadership, and finished with 12 points, showing he'll be a key contributor moving forward.
