Fremd’s Big 3 and Defense Lead to Win over Barrington

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Thursday evening we checked out a contest between Fremd and Barrington which featured two of the top 20 seniors in the state.  It looked like Fremd was going to run away with this one as their defense was dominant in the first quarter.  Barrington got the offense going as it went on, but Fremd still was able to come away with the road win 68-61.  Here are the top Moffett scored 16 points with his aggressive play.  Well-built wing that finished extremely well through contact.  Baseline takes, euro steps, strong takes off the bounce, and post ups.  Hit a three majority of his damage in the paint.  He had quick baseline drives, burst to the rim, and consistently got to the line.  Post ups on out of bounds plays.  Snatches rebounds, high level defender, and shooter that can really let it fly from beyond the arc.  He has a quick release and knocks in shots off the catch.  Mixed in a crafty take along with knocking in free throws.  He had 17 points.</p> class.  It was a bit of a slow start for him, but he started to get it going as the first half went along.  Long and lengthy wing drained a pair of threes.  Moves well without the ball to get open.  Then started to create off the bounce with straight line takes, sweeping finishes, and layups off quick hitters.  Most impressive take was a left handed drive off a hang dribble at the top of the key
