Fox Chapel was able to beat Shaler on a game winning layup by [player_tooltip player_id='2950677' first='John' last='Rehak'] right before time expired in a non-section game Tuesday night.

Rehak is a physical off-guard who made a living in the paint. Rehak was able to score off of 2nd chance efforts. He finished with a team high 18 points 10 of them coming in the 4th quarter. I liked the way he passed the all and could but it thought right gaps to find his teammates. Rehak is sneaky athletic and showed that he can play above the rim. He found ways to turn defense to offense. I am curious if Rehak can shoot from the perimeter he gave off vibes of being a reluctant shooter due to the fact he did not attempt or look to take one during the game. He would be a nice pickup at the small college level and or postgrad level.

Epps is a quick witted scorer who despite his wiry frame is able to find ways to get to the rim. I like how he was able to hit a few difficult shots off the bounce. He made a living at the charity stripe but could have made a few more attempts from there and left some points on the board. Epps had three 3 pointers. Epps is also effective filling the lane in transition. He finished with a game high 25 points. He applied nice ball pressure throughout the game. My biggest knock on Epps is he didn't really make others better at a consistent rate and is probably an undersized 2 guard at the college level.

Fenton doesn't really catch the eye and if you don't gameplan for him he can make you pay. He showed that he has a nice in-between game and scored from there on several occasions. He finished with 16 points. Fenton even converted from behind the arc. He found others for scoring chances of their own.

McGivney was an effective complimentary scorer for Fox Chapel in the win. He tallied 9 points and scored a fair share of his points at the charity stripe. He has a nice vision of the floor and can find his teammates.

Perez loved asserting himself into the mix of the game in anyway, shape, or form. He made a lot of hustle plays. He added 9 points and converted a ton of chances from the foul line. Perez also showed that he could space the floor. He is tenacious on the defensive end of the floor and continuously found ways to get steals.

Nixon impressed as a scoring having 21 points in the loss against Fox Chapel. 15 of his 21 points came in the 2nd half. Nixon does a nice job turning the corner when going downhill. He has a really nice layup package around the bucket. He had no issue sacrificing his body for 50/50 balls. He scored from behind the arc. Nixon made his biggest impact from the charity stripe going 8 for 9.
