12/11/25: Insanely strong wing guard, [player_tooltip player_id='2495403' first='Nick' last='Steen'] improved his ball-handling so much in the last 9 months that he now projects as a possible college "1". Steen single handedly thrust Fulton into a leading position when facing a feisty Cocke County to open District play last week. Steen was, at times, Fulton's best player LAST year and certainly demands defenses focus hardest on him this year. Exceptional off-ball defender. High effort guy. In a gripping game against Cocke County Steen intercepted multiple passes in the second half and that directly led to his Falcons overtaking the Fighting Cocks late.

12/11/25: Carter's team is quite balanced, but scoring junior [player_tooltip player_id='2393889' first='Lincoln' last='Tummel'] often leads the way alongside [player_tooltip player_id='2520223' first='Greyson' last='Watson']. The pair play off of one and other quite well. Tummel's first step is just ok. The shooting touch and balance help him most. Because he stands 6-foot-4 with broad shoulders Tummel is able to bully some guys under the rim. Tummel averaged 6.6 points per game with 3.8 rpg last season. When Lincoln gets himself to the free throw line he does the most damage. Beautiful shooting form.

12/11/25: Elite first step quickness. Creates trouble for defenders with his speed and dribbling. One thing that is going to hurt Pruitt's search for the District MVP will be Austin-East's average record. The guard-driven team will not be in the Fulton-sphere by season's end. That can impact who wins District MVP honors. Pruitt does a lot of destruction with penetrating dribbles. From the middle of the defense he can either finish or feed others. Again, the first-step quickness makes him a headache. Backcourt-mate LeeKori Curry is often the recipient of Pruitt's passes. The pair work quite well together.

12/11/25: As the leading scorer on a record-setting team (Seymour), [player_tooltip player_id='2675165' first='Hayes' last='Golden'] is playing great. He dropped 17 points on South-Doyle when the team improved to 7-0. The 6-foot-0 point guard pulled down eight rebounds in the win. Hayes's handle allows him to get a little separation. Because he is a small guard the senior must create a little distance to find his shooting pocket, and he does it with quickness and elusive dribbling. Through about a month of basketball Seymour's players are snapping off sharp passes quickly. These passes also help Hayes get time and room to shoot because they arrive early and often center mass.
