Here's the latest with notable prospects in the senior class:

Burton Cox, Jo Byrns: Cox committed to Welch College Thursday evening. The 5-foot-9 point guard is coming off a season averaging 10.2 points, 5.1 assists, and 2.3 steals per game. Cox competes on both ends of the floor. He's a respectable shooter, ball handler, and good finisher at the rim. Cox is ranked No. 168 in the class.

Tyshaun Poore, Cane Ridge: Poore picked up an offer from Tusculum University's Development Team on Wednesday. Poore recently took official visits to Dalton State and Columbia State.

Parker Patterson, Jackson County: Patterson is still available and is worthy of a look from college programs. At 6-1, Patterson is a good shooter. He's a good ball handler, patient on offense, and competes on the defensive end. For the Blue Devils last season, Patterson, who shot 37 percent from 3, averaged 15.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.8 steals per game while helping the program win its first ever TSSAA Division 1 Class A state title.

Alex Meadows, Jackson County: Meadows is another solid prospect still available. He's a respectable 3-point shooter (34 percent), good decision maker, good ball handler and fierce competitor to be 5-9. Meadows averaged 10.5 points, 4.8 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.6 steals per game. He played a huge part in the Blue Devils' Class A state title run.

Jack McChurch, Green Hill: McChurch was one of the Hawks' best offensive players from this past season. The 5-9 guard can shoot the 3 ball. McChurch has good enough ball handles to get into the paint. He can make shots from the perimeter. McChurch sees the floor well and knows how to finish at the rim in transition.
