12/11/25: As the leading scorer on a record-setting team (Seymour), Hayes Golden Hayes Golden 6'0" | PG Seymour | 2026 State TN is playing great. He dropped 17 points on South-Doyle when the team improved to 7-0. The 6-foot-0 point guard pulled down eight rebounds in the win. Hayes’s handle allows him to get a little separation. Because he is a small guard the senior must create a little distance to find his shooting pocket, and he does it with quickness and elusive dribbling. Through about a month of basketball Seymour’s players are snapping off sharp passes quickly. These passes also help Hayes get time and room to shoot because they arrive early and often center mass.

12//8/25: Hayes is coming off of a double-double Friday night. He scored 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds in Seymour’s blowout win over Pigeon Forge, 92-58. Hayes it the team’s leading scorer for the season, entering Monday at 14.6 points per game. With the Monday night win Seymour is off to their best start in over 24 years.
