<p>Thanksgiving week I attended four tournaments for exactly 25 games and 48 different teams. The events I watched were <strong>Phoenix Union Coyote Classic</strong> at Central and Deer Valley for 2 days, <strong>Fear The Hop Tournament</strong> at Mesa HS, <strong>Ben Franklin Thanksgiving Classic </strong>at Ben Franklin and Gilbert Christian and lastly the <strong>LV8 Invitational</strong> at Chandler-Gilbert CC. </p>

<p>A scoring guard/wing is their top go-to player. He has a stronger frame and has the ability to get to the basket with dribble drives using a little burst but is best as a catch and shoot three point type. He can rattle them in quickly and comes with a quicker trigger and range. He scored 8-10 points. </p>

<p>A real point guard who looked to facilitate in this game. He has great timing on his passes and sees the court with an advanced feel for the game. He shoots it easily from the three and made some clutch free throws down the stretch in their win. He scored 8-10 points. </p>

<p>A defensive wing is very fluid and comes with length and some athleticism. He is a great rebounder leaping up and will burst past defenders with a nice handle and speed and makes tough contested layups. He scored 6 points while grabbing many rebounds. </p>

<p>A tough scoring guard who can hit shots from the perimeter. He will pull-up from mid to the three and the lefty has a confident shooting stroke. He will dribble drive and lay it in or use the floater game. He scored 10 points. </p>

<p>A long and lean player has a big obligation for this year's team to put points on the board. He is a scoring guard who will rattle in threes off the catch with a super quick release and he will make a play for a teammate with good court vision. He scored 10 points. </p>

<p>A long lefty power forward is a pogo stick to leap up to score, block shots and rebound. He will grab rebounds in and out of is area and go up quickly to score or just dunk it. He keeps showing you glimpses of high level basketball and his best basketball is clearly ahead of him. </p>

<p>A scoring combo guard who can play on or off the ball. He has a pure stroke from the three point line with a lightning quick trigger. He will throw up passes on a dime and moves the ball like you should. He is definitely a neck up type of player and he is needed to succeed for them to go far in the 5A playoffs. </p>

<p>A true two-way point guard who is an intense on-ball defender with his strong core and upper body, lateral quickness, speed and football toughness as he will collect steals in bunches. He is a natural facilitator with up the court ropes and will drive and kick it to open shooters. He likes getting downhill to score and has that senior toughness. </p>

<p>An undersized real point is a good passer threading the needle often to teammates with pinpoint timing. He is also quick on the ball defensively with quicker hands and feet. He will score it getting to the basket and hit the open three. He scored 5 points but had multiple assists and steals. </p>

<p>A live bodied forward who plays multiple positions for them. He rebounds in and out of his area with high activity. He is effective around the basket to score with layups and tough contested shots. He is also good passer for position. </p>
