Over the weekend I was able to spend some time at three separate events, getting eyes on dozens of prospects from over a handful of states. As the dust settles from the busy three days, it's time to start highlighting some of the names that stood out and there's no better place than shining some light on available seniors. After highlighting the best available 2026 guards yesterday, I'll shift gears to the wings and bigs who caught my eye.

Van spotlighted Ruey in his report from the EPL event this weekend, but I'd be remiss if I kept him off this list considering he was one of the most productive and intriguing prospects I saw over the three days. With great positional size and plus length, Ruey left his fingerprints all over his team's win over Western Reserve, boasting an impressive 30 points on just 7-of-11 from the floor and 10 rebounds to notch a double-double. It seemed like every other touch for Ruey was some sort of drive to the rim where he was able to draw contact for free-throws in which he finished 13-of-17 for the game. There are a few DI programs monitoring him, but I'm confused as to why there aren't 3-to-5 fighting for his services when you consider the potential as his best basketball remains ahead of him.

Soumaoro was a key ingredient in Meade's strong win over Loyola Blakefield (MD) in the first game of the Xaverian Classic on Saturday morning. His body continues to gradually add strength to his 6-foot-6 frame and his athleticism allows for ripping down rebounds at their peak. Meade has its share of skilled guards led by 2027 [player_tooltip player_id='2575614' first='Keon' last='Scott'], so Soumaoro was effective at corralling boards, quickly finding his guards and running the floor with intent. He can finish around the bucket with soft touch and even flashed ability to break down his man off the bounce and will his way to for scores. Soumaoro scored 10 points in Saturday morning's win. He's an athletic hybrid forward who will once again be a key contributor for the Mustangs as their poised to make another deep run in the state playoffs.

I liked what Perkins brought to this Malvern Prep team as a fluid-moving wing with length and floor-spacing ability. Perkins scored 15 points despite the loss to a tough Bullis team, but his three triples were extremely timely. His damage came off the catch in the corners and while the ball following the release is the definition of a line-drive, they were falling on Saturday and helped this Malvern Prep squad maintain striking distance throughout. Defensively he brings tools thanks to the length as he can contest shots on the perimeter. Things to improve moving forward is playing off closeouts and moving more fluidly in lateral situations. Perkins jumps off the page to me as a prospect who would benefit tremendously from a post-grad prep season.
