CIAC Upperclassmen: Forwards to Watch

He's a capable, multi-level scorer that has proven to be a terrific perimeter shooter in catch and shoot situations. A plus athlete, he's capable of playing through contact as a driver and finisher around the rim. He's a versatile offensive prospect, capable of knocking down shots from behind the arc and putting the ball on the floor to attack the basket. Defensively, he covers ground quickly with his length and athleticism, while also showing a high motor on the glass and the ability to protect the rim as a shot blocker. Offensively, he is a terrific rim runner in transition, that has a big catch radius and continues to improve as a finisher around the rim. The 6'6" athlete does a nice job of operating as a grab-and-go rebounder, attacking the rim in transition, and finishing plays with length at the basket. He's an energetic cutter, continues to improve as a finisher, and shows the ability to attack as a straight line driver. An imposing 6'10" forward, he continues to expand his offensive game, showing some developing touch out to the three point line, a good feel for the game with his back to the basket as a scorer, and the athleticism to finish plays above the rim in space.
