There's no debate on Lewis. He's the most valuable player in the region, maybe WV. He's the best player in this region and possibly state. He's already posted a couple huge games prior to this article being published. The Wright State commit appears to have expanded on his already strong game and is explosive as well as fundamentally sound in every area.

State Tournament Qualifier Prediction

George Washington

GW is one of the two teams in this region who'd be a favorite to win the state tournament if it were held today. They have the pieces in place to make a run to Championship Saturday.

Parkersburg South

South would be the other team in this region who'd be considered a legit contender for a championship run. Pats have scorers, size and depth.

Huntington

Somehow, some way Huntington always seems to be there in March. This year will probably be no different in the fact the Highlanders have some key pieces of the puzzle back and as always they'll be well seasoned and tested by March.

Cabell Midland

Midland should be skilled, talented and deep going into this season. What's possibly coach Woomer's best chance to get to the state tournament since taking the job.

Darkhorse

Woodrow Wilson is the pick for top darkhorse despite possibly getting a push from Riverside and an upstart Hurricane squad. Woodrow has some good returning players who are solid athletes, a great shooter in [player_tooltip player_id='2395960' first='Lucas' last='Raney'] and some size inside. I think coupling that with the expectation of being there could be enough to put them over the hump.

Regional Roundup

This region has three of the state's top 2028's in [player_tooltip player_id='2395983' first='Dominic' last='Sprouse'], [player_tooltip player_id='2395988' first='Ayden' last='Spence'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2739673' first='Parker' last='O'Dell'] as well as one of the state's top 2029's in [player_tooltip player_id='2633440' first='Izaiah' last='Jones'].

[player_tooltip player_id='1851878' first='Noah' last='Lewis'] has recently scored his 1000th point. Lewis who's already to committed to D1 Wright State also had an offer to Radford directly after his freshman year from then head coach Darris Nichols, a former WVU point guard in the Bob Huggins era.

[player_tooltip player_id='1851877' first='Harry' last='Silvis'] came outta the gate swinging this year, scoring a whopping 44 vs Capital in the Pats home opener.
