The 2026 class is full of talent, but a few prospects still aren't getting the attention their play deserves. Whether it's steady growth, quiet consistency, or impact that shows up off the court, these players have started to separate themselves. This piece highlights the names whose games warrant a closer look moving forward.

First up on this list of 2026s Who Need More Attention is Spartanburg's [player_tooltip player_id='2394115' first='Johnston' last='Abrams']. Abrams had an excellent camp season, standing out at both the Prep Hoops SC Showcase and the Upstate Hoops Showcase. Now, he's off to a strong start in his senior season, impressing with his unselfish playmaking, skilled close-range scoring, and activity on the defensive end. What sets Johnston apart is that he is also an excellent student off the court and would have no issues in the step-up from an academic standpoint.

Another highly-ranked guard who still doesn't get the attention he deserves is Jordan. He does hold an offer from Vorhees, but Rouse has been a crucial player for North Augusta for several years now. Jordan never lacks courage when driving into the trees and is one of the best in his class at finishing through contact. He is also an excellent passer, both in his vision to read defenses and the ability to make all the necessary passes.

One of the reasons why Swann has lacked the attention he deserves because he was never fully healthy during the summer. Whether he was playing through injury or sitting because of injury, Will was just never at his best. Now, it feels like Swann is finally back to his best and ready to make a strong final impression on college coaches. Not only will he be able to add necessary spacing to an offense with his shooting ability, but Swann is also a good defender who will be able to guard 2s and 3s at the next level.

Isaiah is one of the best two-way guards in the Columbia area in the 2026 Class. Like Rouse, Oree holds just the one offer from Vorhees University. He does a good job of beating the initial defender off the dribble, which plays to his strengths as a scorer at the rim or in the mid-range. At 6'2", Isaiah has good positional length in the backcourt at the high school level, but his instincts and constant activity on defense will make him productive from day one at the next level.

Butler has some intriguing length from his wing position, but he will need to get stronger to reach his full potential over the next four years. Kevin has a really nice lefty stroke and is typically an efficient shooter. He is off to an interesting start to the season from a statistical standpoint, because his shooting numbers are down despite being second on the team with 9.0 Points Per Game. Butler is also a bit of an anomaly for a high school wing because instead of contributing on the glass, he will fill it up with passing (3.0 Assists Per Game).

Rounding out the list of 2026s Who Need More attention is [player_tooltip player_id='2883989' first='Landen' last='Sullivan']. It is going to be a transition year for the Patriots, as they turn over a new leaf to a new coaching staff and a bright young core. However, Sullivan is one of the hold-overs from their successful recent runs, and he has a lot of the ball in his hands on the offensive end of the floor because of how talented he is. Landen is able to play either position in the backcourt because of his scoring prowess, both as a spot-up option and an off-the-dribble weapon.
