Week 1 Players You Need To Know From The Cibola Cougars

His body control when driving to the lane was impressive. His quickness is a big part of his game, but he also has a motor to go with it. He is a high energy player and as the game went on, he seemed to get more comfortable as other players looked tired. This week he picked up a quick foul but was able to adjust to the game. He used his quickness well to disrupt passing lanes.  Chris looked like he worked hard in the off season on his defensive ability. Offensively Chris was good at creating space to get shots off. Chris excelled from midrange and closer during his last game. He kept the defense honest with his three-point shooting ability which opened space for players around him. He fights for loose balls and can keep plays alive by tipping rebounds slightly out of reach to his teammates. He gets off the floor quickly and is good at finding the right spots to be in for rebounds. Cameron showed the ability to play on and off ball defense. He is not afraid to step in and take charges. Cameron is a player that can hold his own offensively when given the chance. His size along with his high motor are key factors in his rebounding ability. Olon is a very strong player that can use his size to get to his spots. When driving to the basket or pulling up for shots he is very good at drawing fouls. While his size and strength are strengths to his play style he is someone who can knock down the three point shot.
