With changes in eligibility, transfer portal, and NIL rules, there are more high school prospects than ever entering their senior seasons still unsigned and without a destination at the next level. We'll be profiling unsigned seniors across the state over the rest of the reason, continuing with the Philadelphia Catholic League's noteworthy guards.

Yates has been a steady factor in the Neumann rotation for multiple years now and will be one of the leaders of a classic Saints guard-heavy attack as he hunts for an elusive PCL title. One of the more dynamic guards on the Hoop Group circuit this past spring and summer, Yates is as dangerous a downhill threat as you'll find in the state. He easily generates paint touches with a slick handle and dynamic first step before finishing among the trees with remarkable consistency at his size using advanced touch and dexterity around the rim. He's a pitbull on the defensive end and has become more threatening from the perimeter to turn himself into a bona-fide scholarship-level guard.

An underdiscussed aspect to Carroll's disappointing 2024-25 season was the year-long absence of Williams, the Patriots' floor general and unquestioned on-court leader, to knee surgery. After missing the entire summer as well to work his way back to full health, Williams is now back on the floor and Carroll looks much better off for it to the surprise of no one. A throwback pass-first lead guard and outstanding vocal leader, the South Philly product excels at spreading the ball around and getting his teammates the ball in the exact times and spots on the floor for them to capitalize. He's a physical two-way presence at the point of attack with the ability to keep defenses honest as a pullup threat from the perimeter. Provided he can stay healthy and work back into peak game shape, he should become a popular name among D1 programs looking for high-IQ backcourt help late in the recruiting cycle.

Ralls has teamed with Williams in the backcourt since both were freshmen, and the Patriots are hoping to see that experience pay dividends as the now-senior tandem fully takes the reins of the program. A scorer by nature, Ralls is a dynamic perimeter shooter with deep range and a quick, confident release while letting fly in tight spaces. He's proven himself to be one of the more intimidating point-of-attack defenders in the area with quick feet and the mentality to never concede an inch. Where he's made strides in Williams' absence is in his ability to function as a lead guard, opening up potential at the D1 level while a litany of D2s and JUCOs have already been recruiting him as a combo.

Gore has been one of the more consistent 2026 guards in Central Jersey over the past several years, amassing over 1,100 points at Thrive Charter (formerly Trenton Catholic) as a valued starter since his freshman year. The fluid, lanky scoring guard will try his hand over the bridge in his senior year, bringing a much-needed influx of scoring to the Ryan backcourt. He's a smooth operator while creating his own shot off the bounce, whether initiating offense or attacking second sides. His ability to knock down shots from the perimeter and function for stretches as a lead guard will be key to track for D1 coaches monitoring his development over the course of the winter.

Colson had no issue adjusting to the rigors of PCL play last year after transferring in from Imhotep Charter, stepping right into a high-octane multi-guard attack and averaging double figures right away. He'll play a similar role as a senior for a Neumann team with eyes on a league title. Colson's most consistent contributions come by way of his shotmaking, as he knocked down over 70 3's last year with a quick and compact stroke that allows him to heat up in a hurry. He's also a feisty competitor with quick feet defending the point of attack while adding some downhill punch as a playmaker off the bounce. Look for scholarship-level programs to be lining up for him by season's end as the Saints figure to be playing well into March.

Having gradually worked his way up the rotation over the past several years, Lesovitz will now be counted on as a focal point for the first time as a senior leading a young group under first-year coach Chris Clark. A classic wing guard, he's emerged as a dangerous shooter from the perimeter with growing abilities attacking closeouts off the bounce and making some reads out of ball screens. His instincts from his years in a complementary role remain apparent, as Lesovitz is an impactful rebounding guard with a similar nose for the ball as a cutter while bringing toughness and versatility to the other end of the floor as well. It will be interesting to see how he fares with more of a scoring load on his plate this year, but scholarship-level programs should be intrigued by his complementary feel and skillset.
