On Monday, November 10th we released our updated and expanded Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings. Over the course of the last few months we have continued to evaluate across summer grassroots events, fall showcases and leagues, and our travels to specific high schools to watch their preseason workouts. As always, we look to update our rankings every few months and we wanted to get this latest update done before the start of the upcoming high school season. We were able to expand a bit from ranking the Top 100 to the Top 125 while adding 50 prospects in total bringing the Class of 2027 database to over 500 prospects. Over the course of this week we will be diving deeper into the rankings by highlighting stock-risers, new names, top watch list names, and much more. Let's dive on in.

We had the opportunity to see Butler shine a handful of times over the course of the summer. He is a very good jump shooter both from beyond the arc and in the midrange. The 6'3" guard should step into a primary role in the backcourt as a junior for New Palestine High School. Look for the Dragons to surprise some people this season as they reloaded their backcourt pretty well.

Clem is a big, physical presence on the interior that keeps getting better and better. He averaged 8.3 points and 8.4 rebounds per game last season and should approach double-double averages now as a junior. His strength is one of his best attributes around the basket, but Clem still moves well with good footwork. He makes his debut inside our rankings at #125 in this update.

I remember attending a Franklin Central High School workout prior to last season and thinking "this guy is going to be good." Hayes went on to average 10.1 points per game as a sophomore and now should blossom even further as an offensive player. He has gotten bigger and stronger, is even more capable off of the bounce now as a scoring threat, and should be improved as an on-ball defender. Hayes is now ranked #113 in our Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings.

One of a couple of sophomores to emerge in the rotation for Center Grove last season, Laney averaged 4.8 points per game. The athletic 6'3" guard has excellent physical tools and positional size on the perimeter. He drives it hard and finishes well up around the rim. Look for him to have a big junior season for what should be an improved Center Grove team. He makes his debut in our rankings here at #96 overall in the Class of 2027.

An up-and-coming prospect to watch at Barr-Reeves, Lengacher will be one of the leaders for what should once again be a Class 1A contender this season. The 6'1" guard is the top returning scoring having averaged 10.1 points per game last season as a sophomore. Lengacher is one of the top shooters in southern Indiana and will be the focal point of the Vikings offense this season. He shot an impressive 59-148 (39.9%) from three-point range last season.

A potential starter this year among a very talented Crown Point High School group that will potentially begin the season as the Class 4A #1 team, Malaski is an athletic forward with some intriguing skill. Also the quarterback for the Bulldogs football team, the 6'6"+ forward is the perfect complementary piece for one of the most talented rosters in the state. He is now ranked #118 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Prospect Rankings.

A smooth, left-handed guard Sumpter will step into a major role in Westfield's backcourt this season. He is a very good shooter than will help space the floor and take some pressure off of the Shamrocks' Division I commit in the backcourt. Sumpter is a high IQ player that can run the show from the lead guard spot while providing high percentage catch-and-shoot ability as well. He makes his debut here at #121 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class of 2027 Rankings.
