<p>Prep Hoops Missouri was at Hazelwood East on Wednesday night to check some jamboree action. The four teams were MICDS, Sikeston, STEAM Academy at McCluer South-Berkeley and host Hazelwood East.</p>

<p>Here are some New Names of players who caught our eye at the Hazelwood East Jamboree.</p>

<p>Naquavion “Qua” Allen (Sikeston): A 6'0 2028 point guard who was very impressive on Tuesday night with his strength, quickness and ability to make plays. He has a tremendous burst to get into the lane and score in traffic. He hit a transition 3-pointer when he entered the game. He also sees the court well as he looked to advance the ball with the pass.</p>

<p>Albert Hawkins (STEAM Academy): A 6'0 2029 guard who is a talented young player who the Bulldogs will build around. His handles are good and he had a nice crossover and change of pace to create his own shot. His float game was good and he also hit the pull up jumper.</p>

<p>Ben James (Sikeston): A 5'10 2026 point guard who is a very solid player. He is a sound ball handler who passes it well and who doesn't make mistakes. He takes care of the ball. He is also a knock down shooter from 3-point range. He moves well without the ball to the open spots.</p>

<p>Nick Weaver (MICDS): A 6'3 2027 wing player who was really makings happen with his athleticism and activity. He loves to slash and attack the basket off the bounce. He rebounds and he plays well in transition. He also made some excellent passes to cutting teammates.</p>

<p>Noah Menneke (MICDS): A 5'11” 2027 guard who was the best perimeter shooter that I watched at the jamboree. He was lighting it up from 3-point range with his quick release. He hit at least two triples in each of the Rams' three games.</p>

<p>Carnel Moore (STEAM Academy): A 5'10 2029 made quite an impression when he entered the first game against MICDS. In his first touch, he set up his defender and hit a step back 3-pointer. He has good quickness and he shot it well from distance.</p>
